I'll start by saying I bought a pair of cheap pair of Wahl clippers a while back that lasted me for more than 10 years. Absolutely loved them and fell in love with the brand. After they finally crapped out on me I went to my local drug store and got one of the middle-tier priced ones, expecting them to be even better, unfortunately they were total garbage. They jammed constantly and chewed my hair up , they were so terrible that I only used them twice before chucking them and looking for better ones online. Went through some other brands which were all just as bad, then I finally decided to give Wahl another chance.Enter these, they are really durable and well built. Feel very solid when holding and they cut like a dream. If you have a smaller frame your arm will probably fatigue fast because of the extra weight, but I personally like it, makes it feel like a quality product. I would definitely recommend buying the extra clip set along with it since the 3 it comes with are pretty short and similar in size.Overall I would definitely recommend, if you're on the fence just bite the bullet and spend the extra bucks for these bad boys. I've wasted money on cheaper clippers and different brands and none of them cut it (hah). Do yourself a favor and grab these today!

Pfffft , omgoodness . These things are amazing. I did a lot of research on what people were feeling these days and it came down to the andis masters and the Wahl 5 star seniors and the seniors seem to review as good or even slightly better than the andis masters which is suprising because the masters are more expensive and have been the standard for years . Either one was going to be a step up from the Andis speedmaster II I was using but geeeez These things are tight out of the box without zero gapping , the motor is incredibly quiet AND powerful. Some people complain the fade lever isnt notched with positive feedback when engaging a level but I like that , no notches allows me to set the blade at any height as opposed to notched trimmers that have what settings are allowed.I am not a professional barber . But I do like to have a professional look and these trimmers got it . I used to use the speedmasters for detailing and hair cuts but I wanted a cleaner look without holding a brick in front of my face when detailing and the 5 star seniors in combination with the 8290 black wahl detailers did everything I want to do .Again these trimmers are very quiet so if you cut young childrens hair it wont sound like a dirtbike running next to their head.Without zero gapping they cut very clean lines but once I get to know the seniors and detailer better I will be zero gapping .So if you are looking for 5 star worthy haircut look no further. The Wahl 5 star clippers got it .

First pair of non-walmart clippers. I cut my own hair about once a week, two weeks in rare cases. Im not a professional barber at all.First off these clipper work great. That simple.They do what they should, if maintained correctly they never pull cut or bother me at all. I have sensitive skin, and not once have I had an issue with these clippers. They look great and I bought the sanitizer spray and a brush to clean and keep up with maintenence. Monthly I take off blade's and give it a good cleaning as well as line up the blade.Not once have I had an issue. Powers through my thick hair. My 5 star hero trimmers broke, and I even used these to trim my beard with no problems on various occasions.The cord is long enough to move around in my bathroom, it's nice and thick, doesn't look or feel cheap at all.Nothing more to say than, it's a great clipper. My only complaint is that it does get a bit hot after awhile I think most people cut quicker than I do. I give myself like 4 passes to make sure everything is even and nice (I know a bit excessive) but it doesn't take away from the clippers.I hope this helps you make a decision. For the price and the amount of time I've had them I definitely reccomedy them.

Was very excited for this clipper to arrive and as soon as I open the box all I can see is scratches all over the clipper, on the surface and on the blade. This was definitely used at some point. I’m sure it works fine, but I didn’t intend on buying a used clipper.

Wahl is a tried and true brand, and these are their flagship clippers. The quality still holds up with their new products today. You can't go wrong investing in these, as they will last you years. I bought this after my battery operated ones died after a few years. I'll never go back after using this one now.
