5.0 out of 5 stars Works pretty good
Works as expected and fits your standard grease tube's. Only thing to really note is DON'T use it in tight spaces. The clip holds really well and doesn't want to release the grease fitting. I'm sure once it's used enough to wear down a little bit it would be perfect.
5.0 out of 5 stars Useful and good value
Very sturdy feeling, comfortable handle, easy to squeeze. I was able to attach a needle adapter to it to lubricate even more suspension components.
1.0 out of 5 stars Just wouldn't work
As previously noted by another user, the adjustable coupler does not adjust. It will fit on to the Zerk, but it will not come off without a frightening amount of force.I used a rather large wrench and first some channel lock pliers and then a pair of vise grips in conjunction with the larger crescent wrench as back up. The adjustable coupler would not adjust. With the coupler removed, the grease flows smoothly, which of course is no help. I can see why this product is returned often. My instinct is to pack the entire mess in to a large ziplock bag and ship it back for a refund or a different product. Actually next course of action is to use a 12" Crescent wrench as back up and really put the squeeze on the vise grips so that it will either come loose or break. Either way I won't be able to grease any fittings now even though with the tire and wheel off, this is the best time to do it.I'm very disappointed with my choice of this item especiall with the warning from Bolo.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works great with Moog zerks
Was hesitant to purchase based off negative reviews, but at thirteen sixty five dollars on 6-13-23 it was worth the gamble. This is the same gun they sell in some of the larger retail auto stores, but at a competitive price.I ran into most issues reviews mentioned. Leaking grease and dry pumps. The leaking grease from the areas circled in my pic was resolved by snugging them down with a slip joint plier (make sure not to cross thread). The coupler then has to be backed off to fit the zerk. This takes some trial and error, but once you hit the sweet spot, simply releasing at an angle will detach from the zerk successfully. Filling the joint/bearing etc is easiest done by keeping the coupler parallel with the fitting. Lower cost guns tend to ooze out if it's not set correctly. Make sure the head of the gun is on really tight to prevent leaking up top. I'd imagine plumber's tape could help threads that won't seal. After filling a couple ball joints, I ran into the dry pump issue after returning to fill some sway bar links. I re-bled the system and dry pumps continued. 20-30 pumps later I felt pressure build and it's been working since.I've been a DIYer for a long time and weigh cost vs quality vs application vs my time. Knowing that less expensive items generally have less quality control and cause more problem solving skills to get things working correctly if they don't work out of the gate or stop working altogether, an item like this that's used every few oil changes is worth my time because it taps into some critical thinking skills if things go wrong. I'm down for that exercise as it expands my ability to problem solve more complex issues down the road.Nonetheless, if use of a grease gun was necessary for my profession, this item would have never been considered. Good luck and keep on greasin'!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great little gun for the money.
I bought it to use on a small fitting with for my tools and the flush mount zerts on my u joints. Its small size made handling it very easy. It also makes it easy to get into places since I can’t lock it on the zert. Doesn’t leak and provides good pressure. It’s a good quality gun for the money.
3.0 out of 5 stars Didn't work
The tip for this tool was too small to fit on the zerks to Greece ball joints and tie rods. That's my experience when purchasing this.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works fine
Bought used to repurpose instead of creating more waste than needed. Was already filled with grease from previous owner so I just use what's in it. Using Teflon tape on the fittings makes sure that they don't leak. I have not tried to open the grease fill area and I don't know how. Maybe I'll look it up. Good product though. I don't know why people say it breaks their grease fittings when I haven't broken a single one. They probably just don't know how to use a grease gun properly.
5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what the doctor ordered
This grease gun is holding up loads better than the other two brands that I have tried out. My whole shop uses it for our pneumatic tools and it works like a dream. It doesn’t seep grease out of the back of the handle or from around the tube like a lot of the other ones I’ve used. Would definitely recommend.
Nice for tight areas. Works as good as the large version.
Works great, comes with various accessories.
Well made
works well
Nice grease gun.
My 40 year old grease guns rubber deteriorated so the grease gun would not work anymore. Bought this one and it works great. Bonus is it is air powered, but you do need a compressor. You can use it with one hand. Very handy.
Fácil de manipular
Funciona bien en las graseras de fácil acceso, con una sola mano
Very useful
