I have used this product daily for years and never had a problem. However, something has changed because the newest bottle I ordered gave me CHEMICAL BURNS. The bottle was sealed, so it wasn’t tampered with and it wasn’t expired. I put it on my face as normal, but it burned unusually bad. I looked in the mirror and my face was bright red with white spots forming. My face was reacting as if I was having a chemical peel done! I washed it off immediately, but it was too late. I’m 3 days post incident and my skin is peeling and badly damaged. I didn’t do anything different in my daily skin routine to perhaps cause this type of reaction. I did everything as normal. I’ve read numerous recent reviews similar to mine. Something is seriously wrong with the most recent batch of this product and it needs to be pulled.

An actual review from a man who uses the product:I am not going to lie. It feels like you're pouring acid on your skin voluntarily. At first, it doesn't hurt and feels cool, like applying a muscle relaxer cream like Vicks on your skin. Then, once absorbed, you feel it penetrating your skin, and then the excruciating pain starts. The pain can last anywhere from 1 to 3 minutes. The intensity of the burning pain is like an 8/10. Sometimes, it feels like I can't breathe because of the intensity of both the pain and penetration. The best way to describe the pain is as if you're trying to chug down a 32-ounce ice-cold water after chewing a really minty gum for a long time. Definitely not for people who cannot tolerate pain. For now, it burns too much, so I am hoping the intensity of the pain gets reduced as my skin gets used to it.It would have been a 5-star for me if the pain wasn't as intense as pouring salt, vinegar, and alcohol all at the same time on an open wound.

I have been looking forward to reviewing this for quite a while, and awaiting a time when I can express all of my thoughts to everyone.So I have had 3 large bumps on my neck for god knows how long. They never get any bigger or smaller, but they have always just been there. Clearly they were/are an effect of improper shaving at some point or another. No matter what I have tried, the size of those bumps has never gone down at all. I have been very self conscious about that for quite some time.I read a lot of good reviews for this product, and figured it could not hurt to give it a try. So here is my journey.I typically shave every other day, as I am not a fan of facial hair, especially on my neck. As I began using this product, I stretched it to every three days, and then again to every four days. I figured this would give my neck the longest opportunity to heal. All during this time, I continued to use this product, everyday, usually once in the morning, and once at night. I also used it every time after I shaved. And each time I shaved, I made sure to take extra special care on my neck, to ensure I would not regress or become worse.After a week of use, I did not notice too much of a change. Two weeks, slight change for the better, and this continued on gradually. I am now on four weeks, and it is a world of difference. I truly wish I had taken a before picture, so I could post before and after pictures. While not completely gone (just yet), those three bumps on my neck are remarkably smaller than they were when I started using this product. They are practically non-existent at this point. When I see myself in the mirror, I can tell they have definitely shrunk. When I blindly feel at my neck with my hand, I can barely feel the current largest bump, as it has almost completely disappeared.I cannot say enough good things about this product. If you suffer or have a similar issue, I strongly encourage you to give this product a try, and to have patience. You probably will not notice immediate results, but I can attest that it is worth the patience and effort.

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT FOR MORE THAN 2 YEARS AND I KNOW THE QUALITY AND AMOUNT OF CONCENTRATION.THIS IS JUST BEYOND BAD AND AWFUL.THIS APPEARS TO BE DILUTED WITH WATER. I JUST OPENED IT THIS MORNING AFTER MY PREVIOUS ONE HAD BEEN EXHAUSTED. IT CAME WITHOUT A SEAL, UNLIKE THE USUAL SEAL ON A BUMP PATROL PRODUCT.THE CONCENTRATION IS JUST QUITE BADI DO NOT KNOW WHY YOU SENT THIS OR SOLD THISJUST REFUND ME QUICKLY. AWFUL!
Fantastic Results!
I have bought this a few times now and it is a fantastic product. Most people think that this is just for use for men's facial hair but (being a girl) I actually use it under my arms where I do tend to get a lot of ingrowing hairs. This has help immensely and I love it. I use it straight after shaving and then in-between shaves, after showering each day. It has smoothed out the bumps underneath my arms!!! LOVE IT! And when I don't use it (occasionally when I have run out) the bumps return, so it is now part of my general bathroom routine. Highly recommend - you will not be disappointed !! 5 Stars all the way!
