I got this for my grandson and he loves it! The pieces are all good quality and it works great to teach him the names of everything, colors and also how to cut things. It's not too hard to "cut" through the velcro but it's sturdy enough that it stay together. I got a great deal and it's definitely worth what I paid!

Melissa & Doug is one of our favorite companies to buy toys from as all of our toys from them have held up and engage my children in play. This fruit cutting set has been no exception.My son received this set for Christmas when he was about 18 months old. At first, he enjoyed naming the fruits and talking about the different colors of the fruits. He was delighted when he learned that the fruit could be "cut" with a knife. Initially, he needed assistance holding the knife and pressing through the velcro to cut. Gradually, he began to be able to hold the knife himself and do the cutting himself as well. It was awesome to actually see his fine motor skills grow by playing with this toy. He also went from not being able to put the fruit back together to being able to do it on his own. The fruits with more than two pieces can sometimes be tricky to put back together as you have to line up the right velcro sides, so, it is a great learning process.So far, the toy has held up with routine play. There are no chips on the paint and I can tell this toy will last for years to come as well. Another great toy from Melissa & Doug!

I purchased this wooden fruit cutting set for my son after it was recommended by his speech and occupational therapists, and it has been a game changer! He absolutely loves playing with it. Every morning, he gets up on his step stool, grabs the set, and starts ‘cutting’ the fruit, which has been great for improving his fine motor skills. Before we got this, he wasn’t using both hands to cut, but now he’s getting the hang of it. I bought it during Bolo Prime Day on sale, and it was one of the best purchases I’ve made. Plus, it keeps him entertained in the kitchen while I’m cooking, so I don’t have to rely on the tablet as much. I’m now on the lookout for more kitchen playsets that can engage him just as much!

These fruit are solid wood, the toy knife is well constructed. My toddler (2 years) loves this toy, it's one of her favorites.Two issues though: first, the orange came cracked and we got a splinter from it. Going to attempt to use wood filler and orange paint to fix it, but there's a control issue there.Secondly, some of the divots where the velcro sits are a bit too deep, so some toy fruits have a hard time connecting well (especially the multi-segmented fruits like the banana and melon). In ours, the banana, melon, and kiwi have a _very_ loose connection (sometimes the kiwi is only being held on by one or two velcro strands) while the strawberry, orange, and pear are solid.

It’s rare to find a toy that keeps my toddler’s attention. Mine loves this; loves the pieces, carrying them around, pulling them apart and putting them back together. I also get to play with it with him too. Lots of entertainment. Not sure about long-term Velcro durability, like other reviewers, but I believe I could probably add my own if it gets worn down over time. Regardless, a favorite toy of his and excellent purchase.

Love the quality you get from Melissa and Doug. The toys always last. Bought this as a gift and it looked nice and vibrant. It is well used by a toddler learning to chop.

Die Qualität ist richtig schlecht. Die Teile lassen sich kaum verbinden. Für den Preis und die Marke habe ich andere Erwartungen gehabt. Leider geht es zurück.
Bonitas pero igual un poco grandes
Son bonitas pero no me acaban de convencer no son tan manejables como las de otras marcas las veo un poco desmesuradas en color y manejo para una cocinita. Es mi opinión aunque buena calidad lo son sin duda
