I needed packing paper for breakables. I was stunned when I saw how much packing paper costs! So I looked for the best price and this one was the one I chose. When it arrived I was impressed by two things: One, this is a decent weight paper, it's not flimsy and won't tear easily. That means I can use less but still protect my items. Number two, this is a big roll! Since it is so wide I can cut pieces any size, up to 4 feet wide. That flexibility in size choice is another way I will save on using paper - I can choose exactly what I need and cut to fit. This paper would work as a wrapping paper too, you could decorate it with ink stamps or markers etc. I will be buying this again!
5.0 out of 5 stars It's Paper, It's Brown, and It's Heavy... The 'Krafty" part I'm not so sure about.
I bought this paper to use for patterning shotgun loads to determine which shells perform best with my gun.For this very particular intended purpose, the paper had to be: 1. Stiff enough that it won't sag when cut to 4ft x 4ft sheets, 2. Dark enough that a paper plate taped in the center stands out well at 50 yards, 3. Tough enough to withstand moderate breezes down-range, And 4. Heavy enough that I can count the holes made by each individual shot pelletAnd on each of these points this paper is 5-star-excellent. In fact, the only problem I had while at the range was with the duct tape I was using to hold the paper to its frame. Duct tape apparently sticks to EVERYTHING unless the current weather conditions are 90+ degrees (f) and 1800% humidity (you know, a standard S.E.GA spring day...). So, obviously some changes to my set-up are in order, but this paper worked so well that rather than using different paper, I will modify the target frame so that it provides the anchor points this paper requires, namely metal clamps, or furring strips to staple the paper to. Now if you will excuse me, I have a **LOT** of little holes to count to determine my pattern density at various ranges.... .

This stuff is great and has all kinds of uses. I put it down on the table when I'm going to be doing crafts (with adults or children!), I use it to tape up a big-print to-do list when we are tackling a big house project (it helps keep my boyfriend reminded and focused on task), and of course for wrapping items for shipping, especially when the item is already a box and you don't have an appropriate sized cardboard box to put it in (just be sure to use good packing tape, not thin cheapy stuff). The roll is a versatile height because it allows me to cover big surfaces or cut shorter height for smaller tasks and the length seems to go on forever, making it a great value. If you are going to lay it down on a flat surface for protection or to work be prepared to tape it down or roll it the inverse first because it is on the spool pretty tight which gives it big curve when you take a piece off.

This is the 9th different kind of packaging paper I have tried. I'm done looking. For the price, it's incomparable for the amount on the roll, how long the roll is, and how sturdy and well made the paper is. Definitely fills more space with less, and is very firm. I have 100% confidence in the packages I send using this paper. Thanks for a real quality product at a good price, from a small business trying to provide quality products at good prices. =)

I absolutely love this paper. I'm can think of absolutely nothing wrong with it! I use it to cover my table for my kids artwork and will often then remove the paper carefully and use it to wrap presents with its creative children's masterpieces. I just purchased this roll because I thought that I had lost my previous roll and I did not want to be without it. My original roll I have now had for over a year and a half and I doubt that I have even used a ¼ of the paper, and to keep that in perspective you should know that I use it to wrap all of my presents (because it is thick and covers all graphics and is fun to decorate), the for mentioned artwork, craft projects, etc. this paper and double-sided tape are on my "I never want to live without items".I purchased this paper for just under $20 and for as much use as I get out of it that is a steal!

Bought some of these in addition to builder paper for sheet mulching my yard. I laid it 2 layers thick as a weed barrier before putting on wood mulch. It is thinner than the builder paper from the big box stores and probably 3 layers of this would roughly equal 2 layers of the builder paper. It also looks more shiny and seems a little more water repellant. It didn’t rip with gusts of wind, but it folded more easily. I haven’t used it for arts and craft and or wrapping, but it seems sturdy enough from my walking on it and spraying it with water.

I'm pretty sure I'll use this roll for many years to come! I like wrapping gifts in kraft paper with twine so this is perfect for that purpose. It makes gifts look really classy and clean without very much effort. This is way cheaper than buying wrapping paper and is appropriate to use for all occasions and every season. I love this paper! I keep it in the original box it was shipped in so that it doesn't get wrinkled when I'm storing it. I keep it upright next to my vacuum so it doesn't take up extra space.Basically, this is a great, thick kraft paper. If you don't know what kraft paper is, go to a local craft store and ask or try some out. Some of the negative reviews come from people simply not knowing what this was when they bought it! If you do know exactly what kraft paper is (and how it's different from printer paper) and you want a lot of it, then this is definitely a good purchase.Update seven years later: I finally got to the end of this roll. Still highly recommend.
Love the paper
Excellent artist practice paper for graphite, soft pastel, charcoal. great color. I cut it into 3 rolls very economical. Delivered fast I am very happy with the purchase.
Great for table coverings
This paper is fantastic for tablecloths. We used the roll to cover tables for 60 plus extra serving and buffet tables, and had ample paper leftover. The paper was very durable: not even the drink table’s covering had ripped by the end of the event. I will continue to use the roll for events and wouldn’t hesitate to buy more of this brand.
Worth the price
I love this heavy duty kraft paper - it is way thicker than other papers I have tried, which makes it perfect to package my signs for shipping. I wrap a few times around each sign and it provides a thick and tough layer. Would definitely recommend and repurchase.

This paper worked great to cover tables at a reception. Doesn't rip easily, which is helpful.
