5.0 out of 5 stars My pug wouldn't stop bleeding after birth.
It's a big pill. My dog does not like eating it on it's own but it gives her so much energy. She plays again and looks more alert.Update: its February 22 this got delivered the 4th. My pug is something else. After giving birth in December she did not stop bleeding. My mom told me that's because dogs go in heat after giving birth. I believed her. Time went on and now im at the end of January very worried. I took my dog to a local vet he said to get her an ultra sound. Just my luck the doctor who he recommended was on vacation. The other vet I trusted had not set up their machine yet. The last vet I called quoted me from 600$ to 1,000$. So I contacted my online vet I have an insurance (pawp) they told me to take her to a vet it was urgent. I had explained that I did and my situation. At this point I was thinking well I got her these pills and calcium supplement just incase she was having trouble contacting her uterus. Suddenly she started humping the boy dogs. Only for two days, when she's in heat this lasts over a week. Her blood stopped for a day and came back again. It was a dark brown discharge no smell. She was starting to play more than usual, eat the same (normal), and looked healthy only had that darn blood discharge. Now today is the 22nd its 3 days without blood discharge. Yesterday the boy dog licked her aggressively. So maybe she is in heat? Also forgot to add when she started to hump I contacted my online vet and the vet said she's in heat. I told her it was iffy since she wasn't acting like her usual heat cycle and her vulva hadn't swelled. Contacted again and the vet said she's in heat. She told me to test by scratching from anus to vulva and check if her tail moves but with pugs its hard to tell. She told me aslong as she plays, drinks water and eats she should be fine. This pill helped a ton! Half in her first meal, half during her second meal. She was emotionally detached from her babies until now. She loves playing with them now, she used to runway from then. Also her blood during January was dark blood so I assumed it was old blood coming out. Only bright sometimes less than a dot. So I didn't find it urgent and her gums are always a healthy pink. If her blood was bright I would have took her to the emergency room asap.
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Product
Awesome product. My dog loves these. He was poisoned several years ago by a neighbor that tried to kill him and my dogs in their yard. Needless to say he is the alpha (195#). He ate all the meat and poison. After getting him better he goes through bouts with kidney and renal failure. Something he will deal with for the rest of his life. These pills are awesome give him some when he starts getting low on energy and boom he is back and playful. He even eats them like a treat he loves the taste. Friends dog same way loves the taste. These pills probably are the only thing keeping his body where he can be and prolonging his life. Customer for life.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works wonders! Sadly my dog passed away peacefully on New Year’s Day.
My dog had pericardial effusion and anemia. Vets told us to do blood transfusion after his pericardial tap. Blood transfusions cost about $2-3k. He took vet classics with his medicine, and after a few days he was back to normal!! Jumping up and down, greeting guests and having the best time of his life with his other brother dog. My dog’s gums turned from pale white to pink. Fast forward a month and a half later, on New Year’s Eve, he had a sudden stroke, which left him lethargic and unable to move his head and body. He passed away peacefully. We miss him dearly. We recommend this product. He didn’t finish the whole 120 tablets, he still had half a bottle left. At first we crushed it and mixed it with pumpkin Gerber to hide the taste. But then he got used to it and he thinks they are treats. Pericardial Effusion sucks and I hope no dog can suffer with the same disease. Thank you.
5.0 out of 5 stars My 14 y/o Rottie has more energy
I give 2 a day to my 94lb Rottie. He’s 14 and had started to really show his age! I started giving these to him and he’s perked up!
1.0 out of 5 stars No safety seal. Pills arrived crumbled, broken and crushed.
The product arrived with no safety seal. Pills were crushed and broken, so there is no way to know correct dose. Concerned with the quality of this product, with no safety seal how do I know if those pills are authentic, not past expiration or safe to use?
4.0 out of 5 stars Helped my dog a lot with her anemia
I have been giving these to my little Jack Russell terrier mix for about one month. She was diagnosed with immune-mediated hemolytic anemia and almost died with a packed cell volume of 10%!I think they are really helpful for rebuilding blood cells and helping her recover. She has rebounded in energy, and her weekly CBCs are showing a healing, positive upward trend, which could also be due to other factors, such as the prednisolone she is taking. My only complaint is that, initially, she loved the taste and willingly ate these, but now she sniffs them and turns her nose away. She will come back to the chewable tablet seconds or minutes later and finally consume it, so maybe her ongoing dental issues prevent her from masticating the chewables easily.I have researched the ingredients within this supplement, and they are all known to assist with energy and hematological support of the various components of blood tissue, helping cytopenias.
2.0 out of 5 stars Hard to say if it works because....
The bottle came intact but most of the pills inside were broken and crushed into powder. We could not dose appropriately so cannot accurately tell if this product works or not. I will not buy again because it's a waste of money to have them crushed.
