5.0 out of 5 stars Healthy pop tarts
We love these and getting the box of them is way more cost efficient. Tasty treat with less harmful ingredients compared to the traditional pop tarts.
5.0 out of 5 stars A tasty, kosher, healthier alternative to Pop Tarts
First and foremost, these toaster pastries taste great! You get light, crusty pastry and impressive chocolate flavor. So if you're worried about whether or not toaster pastries that are billed as organic and healthy can measure up favorably to the market leader, I suggest you try them - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. It would definitely be a stretch to call these toaster pastries health food, despite the organic, low sodium, zero trans fat and vegetarian claims. But the saturated fat percentage is only 15% of the USRDA 2,000 calorie reference diet, which is relatively low for a toaster pastry. The percent of total calories that come from fat is also relatively low. But you can do that much diet damage with just one or two of some kinds of cookies, and the portion size of these pastries - the nutrition information provided assumes that you're eating an entire pastry - is far more satisfying than a cookie or two. Many people might find just half a pastry to be satisfying. So if you're looking for something sweet to eat, I'd call this a good choice.Kosher certification is provided by COR (Kashrus Council of Canada, based in Toronto, Ontario), and the product is dairy.
4.0 out of 5 stars Better poptart
Better for you than other poptart brands, but they’re expensive in comparison, don’t have many flavors, and I can’t find them in local stores so I can just buy as needed instead of in bulk. I did like the brown sugar cinnamon ones. It has a decent amount of frosting and filling but not quite as much as other brands do. The raspberry tastes good but I was disappointed by the lack of frosting. My husband won’t even eat them, because there’s so little frosting it might as well not be there.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pumpkin Pie
This is the better tasting, and more moist, of the other flavors, in my opinion. My toddlers are a big fan.
1.0 out of 5 stars We pay premium for what?
We pay a premium for these and the last two we’ve gotten only had 4 months left in it’s best by date…. A third one had 9 months.. 9 months is plenty but 4 months is really bad
2.0 out of 5 stars Pop Tarts Leaking
I love the Pumpkin Pop Tarts from Natures Path. I ordered 2 big boxes from them over the last few months. I have had to throw out over half of the packages I opened due to the pop tart content leaking through the pastry and appearing moldy. The last box they sent me in early June expired in two weeks. That's 12 boxes of 6 pop tarts each, that expired in 2 weeks. C'mon, NP. You are better than that.I have been eating all varieties of these pop tarts since around 2016. Pumpkin is the only flavor that seems to have this leaking problem. So beware if you order them. I am done with them at this point. Shame because they are delicious! Back to the other flavors.
5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best products of this brand
Fine quality, organic ingredients. Just don't eat more than two at a time: it's a lot of sugar
5.0 out of 5 stars Inconsistent yet great overall
I love poptarts but the other brand was so unhealthy. I am glad I found these and I will be buying again. My only problem with this brand is that it is very inconsistent. Some have little filling while others have the perfect amount. Some have stale and dry crust while other ones the crust is perfect. Sometimes the crust even seems thicker too. I wish they were more consistent because these are expensive.
