5.0 out of 5 stars Good selection of colors
This set has a good selection of colors, if you already have the basic colors this set has good additions. The cobalt turquoise light and the transparent orange are my favorites here. The yellows are a little too close in hue but you can tell one is warmer and one is cooler. The permanent carmine is gorgeous and super intense. The opera rose looks nice but it's a little hard to rewet. Other than that color the rest rewet easily once dried in a pan or palette. I like this set.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great starter set
Like so many people I was determined to pick up a new skill during the pandemic and watercolor has always appealed to me. I had tried some inexpensive pan colors and wasn't really happy with the results in terms of vibrancy. These colors allow for smooth transitions and beautiful application. I know they're not cheap but I found that combined with a good quality paper they produce phenomenal results.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good paint.
These are my favorite paints so far... granted I haven't tried a lot of them, but I've tried a fair amount of the cheaper/student brands. It's worth paying a bit more I think.

Awesome set! Love it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, Vibrant Color!
I bought this paint for a project that needed really smooth blending- typically I have been using gouache for the color vibrancy. It was worth every penny! I probably won't buy any other watercolor paint. Beautiful color, really nice blending and the color really holds up well when diluted
5.0 out of 5 stars Makes beautiful paintings!
These paints are very nice. I do wish wish they were a little bit bigger, Beautiful color to mix and make any color you’d like! I believe Windsor & Newton is the top in watercolors!
3.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality control! 8 of eighteen 5 ml tubes were not full!
Winsor and Newton professional watercolor paints are expensive and come in small 5 ml tubes. I was happy to order them for a set within my budget. However, when I went to swatch the colors, I found 8 of eighteen colors were not full tubes. I can deal with the watercolor being below the neck of the tube as long as I can see the paint, but 8 of the tubes had so little paint, I couldn't see the color without pushing my brush down into the paint, and 4 of those had approximately 1/2 inch less paint in the tube (based on how far I had to push my brush into the tube to get any paint). On a 5 ml tube of paint, and as expensive as these watercolors are, this is unacceptable to me. Value for money is an issue for me. The description should state the tubes may not be full. These did not meet my expectations.

I am not an artist, but I do like these colors. I find them very easy to use, nice selection and the colors themselves are very nice. Thanks
Intense colours
Beautiful living watercolours!
You’ll love this set
This set is perfect as first step for professional watercoloring!!! The selection of greens, blues and reds is enough. I just miss to have sepia on it but I’m happy to get Payne’s grey. Colors are quite bright without chalky texture. I got this set because I didn’t want to spend too much but now I’ll try to get some colors separately. Highly recommend.
