I have had several iterations of this bleeder over the years, and accumulated a variety of adapters. Each vehicle I have used it on has made the brake system bleeding/flushing an absolute breeze.It "feels" like it takes longer because instead of running around opening and closing bleeders while someone pumps the pedal, I simply pressurize the system, and open one bleeder at a time while the fluid smoothly flushes through the lines.This also works excellent to bleed/flush a hydraulic clutch system as well.I can't say enough good things about it, it is simple, effective and not expensive at all for what you get!

I read almost all the reviews. This is the first pressure bleeder that I have ever bought in almost 40 years as a light,medium and heavy duty technician. It’s ready to use right out of the box, you need to know what adapter you need to fit your master cylinder and you can order that from Motive as well, I needed to bleed a clutch at 30 psi which is the max on this pressure bleeder and it worked perfectly. I plan on buying many more adapters since this is so easy to use and very well made. Excellent quality.

I did a lot of research to determine which one of the various pressure bleeders to buy. All of them seemed to have some mixed reviews and leaks were a common theme. I know this company has been around for a while so I thought I'd give them a try. I paid the ransom on the extra cost for the aluminum cap thinking it would seal with the master cylinder better and it would be less likely to leak with the bleeder hose and fitting. (wrong) So much for that theory. Brand new, out of the box and this bleeder had two major leaks! The worst leak was with the pressure gage to plastic tank. The other leak was at the red aluminum cap to the brass fitting that has loose teflon tape at the joint. I bought this to help expedite doing brake jobs since since I flush my brake fluid about 8 times a year. (track car) This bleeder should cost under $30 and when you pay $90+ you would expect the company would have the basics sorted and the quality processes in place to prevent a defective product from being shipped to a customer. It pumps fine, the hoses feel shorter than what is shown in the pictures and a little more length would be helpful. I'm regretting not buying the cheaper systems on Bolo since I definitely did not get the quality I thought I was paying a premium for. The design needs upgrades to robustly eliminate leaks at the fitting to the aluminum cap and the interface with the pressure gage definitely needs major changes. My advice, look elsewhere unless you want to end up being this companies quality control and repair team.

This review covers the BLACK LABEL version of this popular brake bleeder. For the $15 extra dollars, you get a solid aluminum reservoir cap with a swivel fitting. The swivel fitting is worth the extra money alone. As others have mentioned in reviewing other versions of this product, without the swivel you must pre-twist the reservoir cap prior to screwing it on to the brake fluid reservoir top, which is a real pain if you choose the 'reservoir fill' method of brake bleeding. This device works whether you put fluid in its tank or just use it to pressurize a full reservoir.Usage of this device allows single handed bleeding as pressure applied to the reservoir allows fluid to flow through the brake system while you control the rate of flow at the caliper vent nipple (no brake petal pressure need be applied). So far the reservoir fitting has fit every reservoir I have used it on (mostly recent Mercedes Benz models).Not shown in the product pictures is a in-line coupling that must be connected prior to using the device. This coupling uses standard pipe thread fittings and must be Teflon taped to prevent leaking. If you know how to use a device such as this, you likely then have some Teflon tape around to spare.The device is not as large as the picture might have you think. It is no larger than it needs to be and operates identically to a standard yard sprayer. Max pressure is ~30 psi, however I achieved satisfactory results with pressure around 20 psi. (I'm not quite sure how much pressure a standard reservoir will endure.) Once the in-line fitting was taped, the device readily maintains pressure for the entire procedure.The first time it is used it will pay for itself.

I did a lot of YouTube reviews on bleeding my own brakes and the Motive Power bleeder came up every time in videos. This is easy to use and was and will be a great tool moving forward if I ever need to flush or bleed my vehicles brakes. I used this exact kit on my 2017 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R, I opted for the aluminum brake reservoir cap. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to flush or bleed brakes by yourself.

Great bleeder system, intuitive to use with handy pressure gauge. I used about 15 PSI and was plenty of pressure to get the fluid moving out quickly. I would prefer using the pump, even if I had a person to help pump the brakes. Would highly recommend getting the black label, with the aluminum cap. It feels very high quality, easy to clean, and should last a lifetime. Great system overall, decent value and will pay for itself on the first use.

Purchased this along with a set of couplers to be able to do additional brands of cars. Used on a 2006 Honda CRV with one of the adapters not in this kit and a 2015 VW GTI. This system worked really nice for flushing the brake systems. Not the cheapest option but worked well.

Okay Break Bleeder
Chosing the product that fits my brake fluid cap was a hit or miss adventure, particularly that the attachments are not priced cheaply. I called Motive for support, the message was to send an email. Never received a reply. Machine came with a brass nut connector and it took a few times to stop the air leaks. Pump is too small for the container and takes a lot of pumping to get to operating pressure. Otherwise it works fine.
