I've had this box for 3 months now, quality is great and it's healthy for my guinea pigs treat from time to time. It's harder than Timothy hay but not like bale hay and easy to use. Dark green in color.

I got this alfalfa hay for what I thought was a pregnant chinchilla, but ended up finding out that she was just fat! This is a great high-quality hay that my chinchillas love, but I will be switching them out to Timothy hay because that is better nutritionally for them . The alfalfa hay does smell very good. There was no mold present and it was very dry. Just like it should be. It was shipped in its own box and labeled properly and I think is great value for the money. It was a nice green color and you got a lot of hay for the price.

Great amount of hay and cheaper than the one in pet store
Since I got my two bunnies and they need to be feed hay unlimited, the hay I got from the pet store from Oxbow keep run out of stock, and it pretty costly everytime I refill it. Therefore this size give me an easier way to maintain my wallet and still keep my bunny healthy, quality are good and just the same as the small size (even better since a lot of the small size bag I found it mostly contain small and broken hay)
Delicious for my bunny
She absolutely loved it but it is a gamble. One day I ordered the quality was fresh and pure. A few weeks later I ordered the quality was next to brown and had an odd smell. My rabbit refused to eat it the second time. I ended up getting the big boxes of Alfalfa from a different provider on Bolo who have better packaging and are prompt with delivery.

Very nice and good quality but of you rabbit is just few months old then try more soft hay than this also but of their brand only.Else they will eat soft ones and leave little hard ones.
