Mainly use for air travel or crowded indoor events, but also helps on bad pollen days. This design is more comfortable than the usual masks, seals better on my face, and has more filter area so I get less "suckdown" = more breaths without the filter being pulled into my face thus getting wet.

Great 3M mask, over the head so it doesn't get loose and fits tight to the face. However, it is hard to put on the first time as you must tighten the nose clip. Stores flat until you put it on.Good balance of security and comfort when you need it most in this never-ending pandemic. Hard to take on/off, best when you need to put on for a few hours without eating or sipping water (think flights, trains). It is not super comfortable, but if you wanted comfort you wouldn't be looking at N95s. This is the mask I wear when I am in hospitals or the New York subway. Pricy but worth it in high-risk situations, although I would use other masks (like the Drager N95) for shopping or meeting strangers.

This can be reused a reasonable number of times because the straps are durable and it can be mostly flattened out between usage to make it easy to carry. The foam and metal on the nose are good but not perfect so I recommend taping your nose I highly hazard areas

Due to comorbidity issues, when Covid hit, I did some extensive research on N95 masks, and I'm convinced that you can't get a better one than this one. It has a foam pad beneath the metal nose strip, which makes for a perfect seal around the nose area. And, it has a chin fold that can be pulled down well below the chin, causing it to seal around the entire face. Even when I needed workers at my place to wear them, no matter how their faces were shaped, these sealed! There is another version/part number of this. The only difference is in the material used for the straps. The other model uses the 'rubber band' type material, which breaks easily and also breaks down from sun exposure in you hang your mask from the rear view mirror. But, this model uses elastic material for the straps, and it lasts far, far longer! I get at least 3 months use out of every one. If you take care of them, you will, too! They're absolutely the only mask I'll buy, or wear!

We go through hundreds of masks that we supply for our installation crews. I have been trying to find a disposable mask that actually seals tight enough to prevent fogging eye glasses. I tried one of these out as soon as they arrived. Build quality appears very good. Really like the over-the head style. Easy breathing. BUT, as one of our managers observed, "looks like skinny jeans for your face". We have other adult filter masks made by 3M and all of them fit an adult face. While these have all the correct codes, etc, for 3M masks, they are definitely small compared to everything else we have bought in the past. I would not hesitate to use these masks if they were not so tight on my face which I consider pretty much average for a 6', 185lb male. Fortunately we have female staff and some smaller workers who I am sure will be able to use them. But, at least the batch we got, are very small.

The fit is excellent and very comfortable. They pass the puff test perfectly. They are snug without leakage. The masks come in individual waterproof airtight packets. They can easily be folded flat. They are very easy to breath through. In the past the full NIOSH approval number was not printed on the mask and the elastic strings were around the ear. Both problems were corrected in the batch I bought and the masks now conform to those NIOSH standards for approval as N95 masks.

Back when millions of packages of face masks were being given away to people walking through the doors of chain store retailers, I got 6 of these 3M masks. They're a tight fit on my largish face. In a sense that was initially off-putting. However, I think that the fit being snug around my cheeks, nose and chin is a feature that makes these as safe as N95 masks should be to protect from viruses so I looked for them by specific model number when buying from a trusted source. I wanted the real thing for certain and not to trust a random Chinese brand of an alternative. Simple choice and reasonable price.

I find these so tight and uncomfortable. I understand it's to get a secure fit but they dig into my face and the straps dig into my head/neck and they're quite uncomfortable to wear.
