As an artist of 20 years, I can say these are my favorite pens ever. There are certainly other good ones out there, but the S tip Faber Castell brand pen is the most perfect for my drawing needs. Good lines, smooth, durable.

These pens are great quality and the st provides you with 4 varying thicknesses of ink. Its a perfect sample set.My son is taking art classes and he is giving me mini lessons each week. You're never to old to be creative! These pens are the foundation of our art supplies. Now I want to take a formal brush lettering class.I also use these pens to write in our family genealogy book. The ink is permanent, waterproof, acidfree, and pH neutral so I feel confident it will last through the years. There are many uses for these pens. Useful and fun; even a minimalist would love this set of quality pens. Seems like a great stocking stuffer to me!

The packaging came a little bent, but these pens work amazingly. I’ve been using them for a month now and am extremely impressed with the pens ability to retain ink and then spread that ink across surfaces. I mainly use the pens to draw on mixed media paper just for reference. If you’re worried about testing out yet another set of pens, then rest easy taking a risk with these.

Best pens out there! I bought these to use in art projects with watercolor, pencil, and India ink pens used while doodling, making cards, and bullet journaling. They are exactly what I hoped for. The India ink of these pens is sharp and dark. They write well over other mediums, and the different pen nib sizes means I always have just the right size. I will be ordering these again and again.

As a professional artist, I bought packs of these pens regularly. Mostly just to use the size S and XS. They do the job. However, the pens always dry out while working. I have to lick the nib or scribble on my hand/pants to get the ink flowing again. This happens with every Faber Castell fine nib I use. I finally got so annoyed by it that I switched to Microns (which haven't dried out on me once and are always smooth.)Better, more expensive tools are worth it in the end. But these pens are affordable and still worth buying if you want a decent sketchbook pen. I used a size S Faber Castell marker on the drawings I shared.

I love these Artist Pens. I use them in my Hobonichi A5. I love how dark the ink is and the fact that they do not smear. I enjoy having the different point sizes as this allows me to use whichever pen suits my mood. I love the S point for drawing and the F point for writing quotes. I primarily use the M point for journaling. I do not use the B pen as it is more of a brush point. My first set of these pens lasted a year before they ran out of ink. An excellent buy.

Feels good
As a guy recently starting to draw again with the strife to improve i needed a new pen to fill in the lines to "preserv" my drawing journey. My local store ony had one kind that ran out extremely quick so this felt like a good investment. Tried them and they felt good on the scetchbook and did feel smoother to draw with thn my previous pen from dollarstore so im very pleased with the item!
