I had an old portable singer that I never had a case for. I keep it in the RV for small repairs. I really wanted to protect it more than just wedging suitcases and boxes against it. This case fit well around it. I did put styrofoam pieces around the base and top to keep it from rocking in the case but at least the delicate parts are now protected. Would recommend.

I was skeptical when viewing pics and reading reviews as I've owned other hard covers over the years. I was pleasantly surprised with how sturdy and "hard cover" this is. It is a great improvement from previous years' versions and well worth the cost. The plastic is thick, not thin, lending to its weight and sturdiness.

This is a simple sturdy case for storing and transporting sewing machines.My Brother XR9500PRW Project Runway Limited Edition Sewing Machine with 100 Built-in Stitches and Quilting Table machine fits fine, except I do have to lower the thread spindle on top. I had to do the same with the cover that came with it, too. Either way I am unable to keep it threaded when I put it in the case. It's not a deal-breaker, but it can sometimes be an inconvenience. That said, the machine and its pedal and power cord all fit inside with room to spare. This prevents tots and pets from messing with it, keeps it dust-free and all together, and makes it easy to grab for any sewing or quilting class I might take.

Good quality case, strong and effective for housing a machine. The reviews quibbling about the size are rather silly. Measure your machine first and if it will fit, hoorah! If it won't fit don't get this case. Simple as that.Would I buy another one? Yes but I don't need to.
