This item took quite some time to get delivered and I've ordered a few things from Japan already before but it came through a day later than scheduled and was well packed and a true authentic WMF item despite the odd name in the product listing (evil takes just sounds shady).There isn't much else to be said about this skimming ladle (or a small sieve with a vertical handle) besides it being a quality product made of stainless steel that won't rust, looks great in a modern home and while it took its time to get here, proved to be the real deal.

Hatte zuvor einen günstiges Sieb bestellt, dass direkt qualitativ durchgefallen war. Wie zu erwarten hat das Teil von WMF eine super Qualität. Auch wenn ich davon ausgehen kann, dass das ewig hält, würde ich es immer wieder kaufen.
I never thought I would be able to ladle liquid with a sieve.
If the liquid is the fat on top of water/stock/meat juices etc and the mesh size is very fine then it works really well. You have to be pretty quick to transfer the fat before it starts dripping through. It completely transformed that aspect of cooking - no more chasing fat around with a spoon (and collecting plenty of stock as well) or using those horrible plastic jugs with the low-origin spouts (which are fiddly, messy and leave you with a choice of impossible hand-cleaning or letting them get destroyed after a few dishwasher trips).

Eccellenti le qualità e la funzionalità di questo articolo, già ben rese nelle fotografie di presentazione.La rete del mestolo/colino è molto fitta e la sua funzione viene resa al massimo dall'ergonomica impugnatura disposta in verticale e dotata di un pratico occhiello per la barra.Io uso questa schiumarola, per esempio, per togliere il residuo di amido che si forma durante la bollitura del riso (sia esso semintegrale, integrale, basmati, Venere (nero), ecc.) e la patina biancastra che viene a galla durante la cottura della pasta.[P.S.: In effetti, la schiumarola forata, la classica che tutti abbiamo in casa (culturalmente ereditata dalle nostre nonne e/o madri) risulta idonea solo per togliere grossi residui, come, per esempio, il grasso che si forma durante la bollitura della carne, e non risulta essere di alcuna utilità per chi è vegetariano o vegano.]
