This is a great medium hot sauce. You can adjust the heat by adding less or adding more. It's not for people who like things inferno hot! A small dose will perk up almost any dish. Use a lot if you don't like the food and want to cover the taste of it! I like the glass bottle over the plastic one. No particular reason for the preference except you can see how much is left in the container!

I feed the outside cats, and when the weather is warmer, the ants hit the food pretty hard. This has always troubled me. So, finally I came up with the solution of using a 5" flat creme brule dish as a moat for the hot sauce, then placing the 6" IKEA borosilicate bowl of catfood in the moat. IT WORKS. Initially, some ants got in the catfood and some died in the hotsauce I was using .............. but collectively they decided it wasn't worth it, and so now I can leave the food out without the hotsauce, and the ants won't bother it. (But, for sure, you still have to use the hotsauce anyway, or else the ants will figure out that it's not being used anymore and they will invade the food again.)So, anyway, I'm very pleased with this solution and I encourage others to try it if needed.I got this Frank's hotsauce to restock my supply ................ and I'm NOT a hotsauce person and I don't like super spicy things ................... but I had to give this hotsauce a taste, because it's so well reviewed. And, shock to me, I really like it!!! Lol, I wasn't expecting that!!! I'm vegan and can easily see using this on a tofu breakfast scramble!!! I'm very pleasantly surprised, as I'm 60 and I figured I would never ever really like any hotsauce --but this stuff is wonderful!!! I'm so pleased!!! Highly recommend!!!
