5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome honey, Tastes great as well as great for rashs and many other things.
This honey is really the BeesWax. It tastes great and you know when they say oh its antibacterial and blah blah blah. Well I actually tried it. And it worked, almost like a miracle. Here's what happened. Just came out of a Scope of my throat and upper GI tract looking to see if everything was okay. Everything turned out find, but for some reason, the place where the lady put the IV - I developed a huge red rash. First I was worried it was infected as it didn't go away and only got worse. I used Alcohol on it, washed it with soap and water and done everything to clean and keep it clean and disinfect it. Nothing really seemed to work. Was about to go to the ER to check it out, but before I did - I suspected it was a rash so I wanted to try this out before i went.I took some of the honey on a wooden spatula stick, the ones they use for waxing and so forth and put all over my inner arm around the elbow area, but on the inside of the arm, that's where they put the IV. My family gave me this wierd look to confirm their long running suspicions that I was and had always been a bit crazy. I told them "but it says, antibacterial and so forth." They didn't say nothing just shook their heads.5 minutes later i started seeing white spots underneath the honey where I had put it where I had had the red marks/rash. I thought oh oh - i probably made things worse. So I quickly went to the bathroom and washed my arm with soap and water. I looked at the rash and to my surprise and also delight it seemed about 30-40 of the rash already gone. I was like woh, that's cool. Don't need to go to the ER room, Went to sleep - woke up next morning. What can i tell you 90-95 of the red marks/rash had completely gone. I was amazed. There was still some little marks left, which also went away the next day. But it worked. You know when people dismiss you about natural remedies - shove this in their face and spread it on their rash and so forth and lets see what they say then.Great product, shame it so expensive, but what can you do. If you're gonna spend more money then you should. then spend it on this - it is worth every penny of its expensive price. That's the only thing i don't like about it, but I won't drop it a star because its so darn good.
5.0 out of 5 stars High quality brand which is also sold in big name store
High quality tasty manuka honey. If you aren't familiar with this brand and a bit scared to buy it. It might be helpful to know they sell this in big store like costco and also in a lot of the vitamin shops. The one in costco is lower MGO so if you want a higher MGO you can buy it here on Bolo or their direct website. I take a spoon each day and it has improved my overall gut health.
5.0 out of 5 stars Recommend by my wound care specialist
I first learned about the healing properties of Manukka Honey when I was trying to heal myself after a severe dog bite. Published medical studies show that Manukka Honey with 400 MGO or higher can penetrate deeper and can be more effective than antibiotic ointment. It also helps tissue regeneration.
5.0 out of 5 stars Manuka honey
I love this manuka honey.. this is a great product
4.0 out of 5 stars Tasty
I like this honey. It's fresh and tasty and doesn't crystalize but I must say, I was surprised by the small container/amount for the price paid. That said, I think it's good quality and I love its freshness and taste.
5.0 out of 5 stars A miracle in a jar for my dog!!
I had been trying a wide variety of solutions for my poor dog's endless elbow pressure sore - some from the vet and some from alternative sources - and nothing was working - and this was going on and on for MONTHS. These sores are known for being difficult, but I just could not stand the idea of just having to "live with it." I started seeing mention of the miracles of Manuka honey for treating bed sores and decided to take a chance on this. I ordered this 550+ but in my eagerness and impatience I went to my local WF Market to see if they had any in stock - they did but it was 100+ and was a TON more expensive to boot - but I bought it anyway. It did not do any good. But when this 550+ arrived and with low expectations I started dabbing his elbow with it as often as I thought about it - at least twice a day - low and behold I started to see results within a mere few days!! I was thrilled. If using this on an animal, this is the process that worked for us. First - get rid of any hair in the area - shave it if you can. Twice a day spray down the sore with LOTS of water - my vet told me this oxygenates the wound which assists in healing - and he reassured me that it was impossible to be overly vigorous in cleaning the wound (I was afraid I might be preventing scabbing by my diligence.) After 5 - 10 minutes of spraying water on the area and removing any stuck foreign matter, I would give it a little time to dry somewhat and then I would apply a truly minuscule amount to the wound (so - though this honey is VERY expensive, it will last a very long time.)And that was it. The elbow wound was impossible to keep wrapped due to its location, so we just let it air dry. Don't get lazy and think when things are starting to look good you can stop the diligence - all your progress can regress amazingly quickly. Keep to the twice a day schedule and don't stop until skin or scarring has adequately sealed the wound. Scabbing is not really a goal here as you want the healing to occur from the inside OUT.Just to note - if there is a lot of surrounding tenderness, be sure to get your vet to treat for infection. I think this stuff absolutely helps in preventing infection, but I don't think it can knock one out that has already taken hold.Honey!! Who knew??!!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars THE JAR ALSO HAS AN INNER SEAL!
When I received my jar of honey, it looked looked as though the outer blue ring had separated & some honey had dripped on the outside of the jar. When the lid was twisted, the blue "outer seal ring," dropped down. On the inside, there is an additional "white seal," over the honey! Hope that this "care," will save you a scare.... Also, it isdelicious!
Recomendable
Me ayudo a cerrar la herida de segunda intención y evitar infecciones, sin embargo para mayor bioseguridad he leído que sirve más la miel que tiene mas MGO y con UMF arriba de 15
