I like the clean modern style of this clock, with a ten inch diameter it's a bit small for mounting on a large wall but for my application in a little room and smaller wall in a nook it fit perfectly. The clock functions as reliably as most of quartz movement type battery clocks with the added feature of receiving the WWVB atomic clock signal out of Ft. Collins, CO. making it accurate to within a second every 300 million years. The set up was easy, even though it has an incrementally advancing second hand the clock is silent enough running that I can not hear it within 3 ft which is nice for my bedroom location, the clock is not mounted on an exterior wall or close to a window but still received the WWVB signal within 2 hours of setting up. The knowledge that this clock is synced to WWVB appeals to my sense of science and history of striving for accurate time keeping..... knowing that the clock is associated with the same technology that helps navigate the ships at sea and satellites in space is pleasantly satisfying.

This is the third one of these clocks we have ordered for ourselves and as gifts. I appreciate how long the battery lasts, the size of the numbers, and how quiet it is. If you have an older person in your life who needs a clock with large numbers that sets itself when the time changes, this is perfect. There is a manual set button if the clock doesn't reset, but we've only needed it once.

Many 1 and 2 star reviews for this clock date back to 2007 and are outdated. Hopefully, a review can be up-voted enough to replace those outdated ones. Otherwise, all the old reviews are really doing La Crosse a big disservice.As of Sept. 2014, the La Crosse Technology WT-3102B has two switches in the back, one to set the timezone and the other to set DST on/off. There are also three buttons. Set, Wave, and Reset.Operation:When you first insert a AA battery, the clock will reset itself to 12:00. The clock will then begin to adjust itself to the correct time. - Set button -- This button is for manual time setting. Hold it for a few seconds and the minute hand will start to move. Press it and the minute hand will jump in minute increments. - Wave button -- Hold this button to force the clock to look for the Atomic clock signal. - Reset button -- Resets the clock to 12:00 and start again.Good: - COMPLETELY SILENT (not really, see update) -- When you first insert a battery. The clock resets itself to 12:00 and begins to increment the minute hand at high speed to get to the correct time. What you'll notice is that even though the clock gears are grinding at high speeds, you hear NOTHING. No ticks and no tocks to mock you on those insomniac nights. No being woken up at 2am because the clock is automatically adjusting itself for DST (I had a clock that did that. Scared the crap out of me). - Easy to use -- Insert the battery, hang it up, have a cup of coffee. - Peace of mind -- I bought three of these clocks to replace cheap clocks that were always going out of sync after just a few weeks. It's great to be able to look at the time and know that it is accurate.Bad: - Manual time adjust mode -- Having to hold a small button until the minute hand turns enough revolutions to get to the correct hour would be a real pain. Imagine having to do that for the "Fall back" adjustment. You'd need to hold the button long enough for the minute hand to turn 11 revolutions. I believe you'd have to hold the button for a full 3 minutes for that. Stay away from this clock if you aren't able to receive the atomic radio signal.Tip:Be patient. If it doesn't seem like the clock is working correctly, don't pull the battery or hit reset to try it again. Just leave it on the wall and the clock will wait for the signal and adjust itself correctly.When I first inserted the battery and hung the clock up, it started moving the minute hand rapidly, and after about 3 minutes of turning, it came back to 12:00 and stayed there. I thought it wasn't working and hit reset, pulled the battery etc. Each time, the clock tried to adjust itself, but always came back to 12:00 and stopped. I decided to just leave the clock on the wall and after a couple of minutes, the clock received the signal and adjusted itself to the correct time.Update:Working into the night when all was quiet, I realized that the clock DOES make a ticking sound. To me, it doesn't detract from how I feel about the clock, but if you're sensitive about that, deduct one star.

I like this clock. It looks super great and seems to work well. Except one thing -- the auto set feature did not work. I gave it a couple days but it seems like it never acquired a signal. Mind you, this wasn't some room buried deep in the house -- it was in the bathroom with an exterior wall and window.Some are saying you need to hang it a certain way to get it to set -- but that's not a great solution. That means you aren't going to get the time sync and timezone change features of the WWV radio signal when it's finally moved to where you want it.My recommendation is: it's a good clock. Set it manually and hang it. If the auto-set feature works for you then fine, but don't assume it will work right. Maybe someday they'll do a version with a better antenna or RF amp so the auto-set function works well. At the very least, it would be nice if they added an LED to indicate whether or not it has acquired the WWV signal.

The lightweight box stuffed in my mailbox was unassuming but when I opened it and quickly learned how to set it up this clock became a Wow!All you do to get started is tell it your Time Zone and if you have Daylight Savings. The battery easily pops in, then the clock takes over and does the rest. It finds the correct time without being on any local network. I have found it to be as accurate as the time on my phone!Only slight caution and it is my own issue. When ordering I thought the picture was showing a white trim, but it is actually a very nice neutral silver.I would definitely buy this product again.

Relógio muito bom, não precisa ficar acertando as hrs, ele se ajusta automaticamente, inserir pilhas de boa qualidade, eu tinha um outro e tinha que ficar trocando e ajustando sempre, e este não precisa fazer estes procedimentos, sómente quando acabar a energia das pilhas, ótimo produto .
Excelente reloj de pared a un precio muy razonable
Este reloj tiene conexión automática con el reloj atómico de Colorado; en mi caso no logré que se conectara automáticamente con el mismo, por lo que lo tuve que sincronizar manualmente y hasta la fecha casi un mes, esta muy exacto y sin problema alguno. En teoría una vez sincronizada la maquinaria, solo se ajusta; tienes que seleccionar tu zona del tiempo y trae un interruptor para activar-desactivar el horario de verano donde en algunos países no se aplica, por ejemplo la Ciudad de México.
Good Looks and Excellent Accuracy
Bought this to replace the digital clock we had in the kitchen. It's an attractive design, easy to see from a distance and I love that it's bang-on accurate and stays that way. Accuracy is a thing for me and this meets the requirements. Well recommended and available at a decent price. Also, my second LaCrosse product, so far I'm very impressed by them.
Quiet and accurate and looks nice
If synced to the radio time source…and set itself. All I had to do was press the button for eastern time zone in the us. (Note: it only is programmed for the four US time zones. )It’s quiet, and accurate. The second hand is well calibrated and lands on the tick marks. I’m actually very happy with it.

Nice looking clock but does not auto set for countries outside of the US. As such a bit pointless for UK market.
