I don't know how these people with ratty boots use this and BAM!! They look brand new again. My boots were nowhere near some of these that are pictured and the scuffs and marks are still visible after 1 supplication. Maybe I need to use it over and over till I use the whole bottle. Now yes, the marks and scuffs aren't as visible BUT the pics I've seen, psssh. Lies in my opinion. How do you have boots that the leather is 50% wore off then after 1 or 2 applications they look like they just came off the store shelf? Impossible. The after pics must really be the "look what I just bought" pics. Now that that's off my chest on to the product. I like the new sponge and dab applicator. Lots less mess. Product gives a nice shine, helps make dirty worn boots look better. There's a scent but not an odor if that makes sense. It's a super light kinda pleasant scent. It dries quite quickly. I had a brand new pair of boits come in with marks and scuffs. If they weren't discontinued I would've exchanged them. Instead they gave me a partial refund and I bought this polish. Most of the marks and scuffs are barely visible but were light to begin with. My other identical boots my mother's cat decided to scratch them. Grrrrr. The main single claw scratch is still rather visible but better. These knee high boots are made to be worn over pant legs so it's not like I can hide the marks. Hopefully another couple coats will help. Anyway. Like I said. Thus isn't a miracle product but it helps.

Started using this in the Police Academy (2010) to shine my boots & have NEVER stopped using it!It's great for all an overall shine & for a quick touch up.We tried EVERYTHING in the Academy that was out at the time & THIS SMASHED everything else. Not even a close second to this stuff!!! It beat out the military guys 'melting shoe Polish' method by far! NOBODY could figure out how we got our shoes so shiny & to think it's the fastest way to shine your boots & footwear! Lol!The cheapo knockoff stuff in bottles similar to this is GARBAGE so don't even bother & waste your money cause it's a night & day difference with this polish. Like I said, we bought EVERYTHING that was out & tried it numerous times until we found the winner right here!Now there's a potential con to this item but I've got the answer for you in 2 ways. The sponge applicator can come off over time. If you use the brush correctly with the edge of the triangle (the point ALWAYS forward) in the direction that you're polishing, the sponge is unlikely to come off. Brush in every direction WITHOUT the point always being forward in the direction you're polishing & the sponge IS going to come off at some point! If this happens, take a few dabs of super glue & reattach it & it shouldn't ever come off again. My issue with the sponge coming off was always letting others borrow my polish & they don't follow the proper brushing method & it'll pull the sponge off.
