Vary few dogs in my life, and I have had a lot growing up, liked to play with frisbees. My new pup loves it, i was given a cheap one and he loved it so much i had to get one more durable since he was teething he was starting to destroy it on day one. Bought the new one at the local pet store and he couldn't get enough of it. Sadly i threw it one day and lost it, felt so bad because he tried to find it, but it was gone. I got on here and ordered it, and shipping was quick. He was so happy to see this come out of the box , he almost....almost tried to help open the package because i was doing a slow reveal and it was a bit to slow for his taste. He is getting strong and just started getting into a tug-O-war with it yesterday, and this thing is going to last. Kong knows how to make quality toys and this one is worth the money.The only down side, and it isn't that bad is with it being a thicker material, its heavier, so doesn't fly that far when thrown compared to the regular frisbees. So you are always expecting it to go further then it will unless you get just the right amount of force and angle on it.

My dog is so hard on her toys and this frisbee is no exception. She destroys most of her toys in hours. We have had this frisbee for 18 months now and it’s still going strong. We play frisbee almost every day, often for hour-long stretches at a time. She pins it down with her paws and tries to rip it apart, we play tug with it, it has survived being thrown into many tree trunks, etc. Very durable. It’s not the best throwing frisbee since it’s silicone but you get used to it.

Murray, our Greyhound, loves this flying disk. It is easy for him to pick up. Easy on the mouth while making his over the shoulder touchdown catches. Yes, Murray can go deep. He enjoys flapping the disk about in his mouth after his catches. It is sort of like taunting.Murray is a large male retired athlete. He raced professionally in Florida for several years until the state legislature shut down his gig. He's a sleek 70 pounds and has legs for days. For this rangy boy, a flying disk of at least 9 inches seems best.Murray has four flying disks and we use all of them:1. This KONG - Flyer - Durable Rubber Flying Disc Dog Toy. 9 inches across. Weighs 255 grams.Weighs more than the others so must be thrown a little harder and so it travels faster. Doesn't hang in the air as long as the others. Tolerates breezy conditions better than others. We like this one for over the shoulder catches. It has been quite durable. We've left it out in the elements often and remains in fine shape. This one is Murray's personal favorite. He likes how soft and rubbery it is. If you have a smaller or a more dainty dog, this disk may be heavier and more rugged than you need.2. Wham-o Frisbee Disk (hard plastic, for humans). 11 inches across. Weighs 176 grams. This one works well in the air, but it is more difficult for Murray to pick up from the ground. It now has lots of chew marks on it. It floats well in the air while not traveling especially fast ... so Murray chases more slowly and waits for it before catching. O.K. in a breeze.3. Chuckit! Zipflight. 8 inches across. Weighs 97 grams. It's on the small side for Murray and a little light, but it remains in our rotation and works fine. It's not great at floating in the air and it's not great in a breeze, but it is soft and perfectly fine. The hole in the middle can be fun. Sometimes Murray will stick his nose through the middle. It's durable. The disk, I mean. The disk is durable.4. Whisker Doodle 9 3/4 inches across. Weighs 124 grams. It's on the flimsy side and feels a bit too light for its size. We don't use this one as often. It is still in good shape.May all your throws be on target!

Dog loves it. Flies really well and durable (her sharp little terrier teeth eventually wreck fabric frisbees). She also like that it is very flexible, so she can thrash it around. Delivery was on time. No issues. Only limitation, I am guessing, for this frisbee will be this winter, as we live a a cold spot in Canada, which may require us to go to a fabric frisbee during winter months.
