I put this on my 82 k10 for a little lift pump to get the fuel from the tank closer to the filter so it doesnt have to work so hard. it works so good and keeps my pressure up.

I installed this pump about a year ago in my '84 F250 with the 351W. So far, no major issues. I also installed the Carter 18-14U isolation kit and can report noise is not a problem. Before I start the engine, the pump makes just enough noise to tell me it is running, but it can't be heard over the sound of the engine:Carter 18-14U Fuel Pump Mounting KitOne thing to keep in mind is this pump is not stocked at most auto parts stores, unlike the original mechanical pump on my pickup. Because I use my truck to haul a camper long distances from home, I carry another pump as a spare. Better safe than Catholic, I've always said. I've had no hiccups in over a year so carrying a spare is probably overkill, but I didn't want to be stranded waiting for a replacement pump to arrive.About the only issue I've had is the output seems to vary. The specs say the output is 6-8 psi. Per the gauge I've installed, the fuel pressure at the carb inlet can range from 4-10 psi instead. I do not know if this is a problem with the pump itself or the indication, but the engine does run fine no matter what the gauge shows.Holley 26-503 0-15 PSI Electric Fuel Pressure GaugeMake sure you use some sort of automatic shutoff for the fuel pump. STAY AWAY! I bought this one twice thinking my first one was missed labeled, NO they're wrong! SMH. The only good thing about this is that you can get refunded!! Go elsewhere to get the real Carter 4600HP!MADE IN china POS!! Bolo's page shows this pump as Made in the USA!! It isn't! Comes in clearly labeled made in china!! Also Bolo says this is a 4600HP, but when it comes in it's clearly labeled 4600"BP"!

Works great put it on 2005 duramax as a lift pump increased power at top end towing and makes repriming fuel system after filter change super easy love this product and way cheaper than the other lift pumps

The media could not be loaded. The bag inside was ripped. This is just a spare so hopefully wont need all the little pieces. But not impressed.

Easy install and love the built in even if small shock absorption through the grommets. Im sure on a stock vehicle you might hear it like a 90s fuel pump but for the output i don't notice

Holding 6psi steady with 6an fittings and provides enough flow for my crate 502 bbc. No regulator needed. It's rated up to 8psi however larger fuel lines and fittings will get you there. My second carter pump, good product....my previous one still works just upgraded from 72 gph to this model 100gph.

Delivery date was as promised. Installation of the P4600HP Carter Pump was easy, I relocated the pump from under the car to in the trunk. This was for safety reasons , if you have ever seen a lowered Sunbeam Tiger you'll know why. A new filter is a must! This pump put out exactlý 5.0 psi at the carb so no fuel regulator needed. It is noisy but when the motor is running all you hear is the growl of a 400+ HP Tiger Motor. (the old Carter Pump was 30 years old and getting noisier)
