This one has a smaller circumference than my old one so it takes up less space. The other one was just way too big. This holds my oil with plenty of room to spare. My car takes 4 1/2 quarts of oil, but I don't count how much is drained during the change.

This is a good size, shallow enough, and very sturdy pan for a great price. I am using the two I bought to feed chickens extra food. LOL But, they work great with no worries of rust for the birds.

Handy for disconnecting water lines under sinks and toilets. I left it out in the freezing garage and accidentally dropped it on the floor; shattered like glass! I bought another, just wish the plastic was a little more flexible in extreme temperatures.

....Pan flexes badly when you try to dump the oil you just drained into a holding tank for recycling. Oil is all over the floor because of this Flexing and instability.~ Not worth the money paid and frustration. I've been changing motor oil for many years - and I know better than to Cheap-Out on stuff like this. ....My Bad.... was just tryin' to save a buck or two. Noap!!

Works exactly as advertised. It's a little shallow, possibly; when I first started draining oil from my motorcycle, it splashed a little bit, which is to be expected when you're purchasing something like this. In addition, it was a little difficult to pour with the big spout, but oil is dirty, and I have af unnel and it's just the nature of the business, and little to be done to make it better or any different. For the price, it's made of good material, gets the job done, and isn't burdensome. If you want something nicer or more convenient and potentially cleaner and feel comfortable spending extra money, feel free to get something else. But if you want something that'll get the job done at the end of the day and don't mind getting your hands a little dirty, then this is your product
