5.0 out of 5 stars Tastes great
We got a great deal and value for two of these syrups. The taste is strong and it is delicious! You do not need a bunch of syrup to get the job done, maybe a splash or two in your lemonade or tea or whatever you wish to use it in. A little truly goes a long way, which is much appreciated and it will last that much longer. My husband and I use it to make prickly pear lemonade, half sprite and half lemonade and two splashes of prickly pear syrup and it is so delicious. It is sticky if you touch it, but it is not sticky once it has been mixed into your drink (but then again I do not stick my fingers in my drink either!). It is a pretty purple color that might change depending on what you mix it in. It truly tastes delicious especially in our lemonade or tea, but I am sure it could be used mixed in for other desserts or drinks like ice cream, ice cream shakes, frozen yogurts, and more! I highly recommend this one if you are looking for a prickly pear syrup.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing flavor and arrived packed so nicely!
Amazing flavor and arrived packed so nicely! I have bought lots of syrups and half the time the bottles come leaking or broken cap! The packing the company uses to ship shows they care about their products and their customers!
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic flavor. A little goes a long way.
So my use case for these syrups is probably a bit different than most people but I figured I'd leave this review for people out there who might be having the same idea I had and are unsure if these syrups are the right move. I've gotten in to homebrewing my own hard ciders during this past year and wanted to experiment with some fruit flavor combinations without having to source juice from all the fruits I wanted to try since that would turn out to be absurdly expensive. I stumbled across these while looking for a cost-effective fruit flavoring that I could add to my ciders after fermentation to bring back some of the sweetness lost after the yeast converts all the natural sugars to alcohol and to add some complexity to the flavor profile.Long story short, these work amazingly well at doing just that and considering Monin has like 130 different flavors to pick from I see myself spending a ton of money on trying them one by one. I found that if you have a cider that's fully finished fermenting to dry (basically to the point where there is zero sugar remaining) you can use anywhere from 1.5 ounces to 2 ounces of the flavored syrup of your choice per 32 ounces of cider. You can even mix different syrups together to create interesting fruity blends and with 130 flavors to choose from, the possibilities are functionally endless.

Great flavor, cheaper than prickly pear syrup.
4.0 out of 5 stars Delicious
I use this to make Red Robin's sunset lemonade at home since I love it so much. 4 stars only because of the price. So expensive for just one bottle.

Great flavor, a little goes a long way. Using this to make one of Disney’s signature cocktails for my daughter’s wedding.
2.0 out of 5 stars Taste can't save it
The taste is good but I will have to find it from a different place. 2x now I have ordered it with the manufacturer expiration date being within weeks of receiving it. The Bolo lable expiration date is wrong and does not agree with the manufacturer one. And this time it arrived leaking in the package with nothing to cushion it in the box.
Delicious and unique flavour!
Made for a bridal shower party so that the virgin punch could still be fun. I made the lemondade from Monin's website and it was delicious, though a bit sweet so maybe substitute for lemon-lime soda for plain soda water). Their website also has alcoholic drink recipes.(ice, 3/4 oz. Monin Desert Pear® Syrup3 oz. fresh made lemonade2 oz. lemon-lime soda)
Yeah, delicious.
If you like the flavor of pear. Buy this, mix it with some ice and club soda. Yum yum yum.
Wow
Wow! Un vrai délice!
Expiry date on item is too soon.
Just like similar reviewers, I also received a bottle that was too close to the expiry date to allow sufficient time for the person I was giving this to as a gift to consume it before it was going to expire.
Received a bottle of syrup with an expiry date on two months
