I wanted to get a fountain for my party really bad. After looking at a few fountains, I thought this one was reasonably priced so dove in into the reviews. I was a little uncertain because of the bad ones. After reading a few, I started to think the bad ones were due to user error. After reading the one where the guy put the chocolate wafers directly into the fountain without melting, then I was sure it was user error and decided to take the risk.There is a manual that comes with it, very short but seems like a lot of people just simply ignore it. There was a piece of paper that said to not add unmelted chocolate to the fountain (I bet it started after the wafer guy). So it is really easy to operate the fountain correctly.You have to mix oil to the chocolate, that’s what makes it work. I followed the recipe in the manual which is 24oz of chocolate to 3/4 cup of oil. I decided to use coconut oil because it felt the least weird, and the flavor of the chocolate was unchanged. The fountain worked pretty well right away and throughout the whole day. Everyone loved it!I was also worried that it would be one of those nostalgia miniature appliances that they sell at Walmart and therefore too small. It was not, not huge but not small. Perfect size for a party.My tip is to clean it right away, I knew I should’ve but was too lazy and just made it harder for myself.Buy it without fear!

I wish I had pictures. This was so cute at my daughter's sweet 16. The quality for the price was better than expected. Super easy to set up, use, and clean. All we did was follow the instructions. I'd recommend this fountain it's a lot of fun.

I purchased this product for a party. It is impossible to keep the chocolate the right temperature - it has to be not too hot when you put put the melted chocolate in or it will melt the plastic pieces (per their instructions), but if is melted but not straight liquid then it does not stay melted. The heating device does not seem hot enough to keep it liquid. When I used it there was just liquid chocolate at the very top and the rest was chocolate sludge. I had ordered this with plenty of time to spare for our party so when we had our party it had been 6 weeks since it arrived which means that I can't return it per Bolo's policy. GRRRRR

Didn't keep the chocolate as warm and flowing as I would have liked, but it worked well enough for what we needed it for. If using chocolate chips and not melts you MUST add the oil as instructed in the directions or the flow will not work.

I bought this for my baby shower and it still works good till this day ! It’s easy to put together, it’s a good value for its price . It’s easy to clean.

This took so much chocolate to make it work that it wasn't quite worth it for us, anytime somebody would eat some chocolate we'd have to add more to keep it flowing, and in the end when we turned it off there was a ton of wasted chocolate. It was really cute for our hippie/60's/70's birthday party, but not as functional as we would have liked.

It is exactly what I expected for the price. Read the instructions! Once you are used to the correct way to use the machine (preheat the chocolate and add a small amount of oil. etc.), it works great. It is not a fancy item for a wedding reception but is perfect for small informal parties. It was super fun at a kid's party. They loved dipping the fruit, cookies, marshmallows, etc. and sharing them. There are a lot of small parts to clean, but immersing them (everything except the electronic base) in hot soapy water does the trick.

It worked better than I expected. At first the chocolate didn't flow as nicely as in the picture, but when I turned it off to change the location (5sec), it somehow made it cascade exactly like in the picture when I turned it back on! Love it, no regrets!

Excelente compra a un precio inmejorable. Solo verificar tamaño, hay que hacer brochetas pequeñas (4 uvas) pues si son muy grandes, se derrama el chocolate fuera de la Fuente

Fonctionne très bien, le chocolat n’est pas très très chaud mais ça fait la job. C’est beau de voir couler les chocolats, les enfants et adultes étaient impressionnés
