The simply designed Casio G-Shock Classic digital watch for men offers shock resistance that's great for your most vigorous sporting activities. The durable rectangular black watch case measures 45mm wide (1.77 inches), and it's matched to a comfortable black resin sports strap. The face has two windows that show time (bottom) and date (top) as well as a circular display for the stopwatch function, which can measure events down to 1/100 of a second for the first 60 minutes (and down to 1 second from 60 minutes to 24 hours). It also offers elapsed and split time modes, and 1st-2nd place times, and it includes a countdown timer with a 24-hour range. Other timekeeping features include a multi-function alarm, hourly time signal (which can be turned off), and 12/24-hour formats. This timepiece also features an Auto Calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2039), ±15-second accuracy per month, Afterglow backlighting, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--which will stand up to the rigors of recreational scuba diving.

I got this watch 50 percent off, so it was cheaper than my typical Timex Ironman watches. This is bigger, better, sits more comfortably on my arm. Easier to read, especially in bright sunlight. Best of all, I don't have to pull out my phone to check the time.

My husband is a huge fan of g shock watches!! He loves to work out and his job has him working at all hours, and can be physical as well!These watches are rugged, durable, and amazing for all that he does wearing it.I really like this gshock better than his last one, for him to be able to work out in and be able work at all hours. He needs to be readily able to access the time and date, and to be able to glance at your wrist and have a watch light up so well helps so much. This one is basic to real prettiness to it but it gets the job done, and it displays the time and date accurately. He wears it everyday, shower and all, if he forgets to remove it, it gets sweated on too, if he forgets when he's really hitting his workout hard.One weird but definitely good thing, I don't notice it harboring smells like plastic bands tend to do!

I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing my review but I so impressed with this watch out of the box I couldn't wait. I've read some negative reviews on the watch battery dying after a few weeks. I am sure there is some bad batches out there. This was one major concern I have to be honest. I almost didn't buy it for this reason. I am crossing my fingers this isn't true with mine and plan this watch to me my everyday go to watch. This is my first G shock watch also and I'm blown away with the quality and simple style of this watch. I am a watch collector and wanted to add this watch to my collection. This is not only ideal for military personnel but anyone who is looking for a rugged durable everyday work horse watch. I will revise my review should I have any issues but for now I am very content with the purchase. I am glad I did purchased this solid watch mainly to the gym and outdoors. It appears bullet proof ready for the harshest conditions. Only time will tell if this watch lives up to the name. The back light is a cool light green and the dial us easy to see in the dark. For under $45 bucks this watch was worth every penny. I can't think of any watches that is such as high quality for that price. It super comfort able to wear on the wrist and does not pinch on th. This particular model is a few years old but the skin like some watches do. It's a older model but better than some current models that are higher in price. Its just my opinion. If this watch lasts long time then I will purchase another G shock again in the future.

I like the strap how it is not fixed to the bezel or case. The strap lays flat on surfaces and curves to the wrist when on. The watch is simple and tough as desired with extra unnecessary gizmos.

This watch seems like it is going to last a long time. I really like the mineral crystal because it is so much stronger than the acrylic, and it just looks better, especially considering it doesn't scratch as easily. My last watch (Timex Ironman Triathlon) had an acrylic crystal and had all sorts of scratches after just two months. Working in a warehouse, I need something that will stand up to daily abuse; I think this is the one.Update 2.5 months: not a single scratch on the crystal.5 months: Still not a scratch and other than some scuffs on the band, it still looks new. My hands don't even look that good.1 year: This is impressive! I have yet to see a single scratch on the crystal, and the band is still in great condition. A lot more than I can say for my Ironman Triathlon watch.Shortly after my 1-year update, this watch reset itself. It has done this 3 times; twice in 2 days' time. I'm not sure what caused it, but it was a minor annoyance having to reset the date and time.2 years: The watch hasn't reset itself, since before I wrote the last update. And there are still no scratches on the crystal. The band has also held up well.3.5 years: Minor scratches on the crystal, but they are so faint you have to look for them. One of the two watchband screw covers came off, but that only affected the cosmetics. The band is still holding up strong. The watch never did reset itself again.I almost wish the band would break, so I would have an excuse to get a new G-Shock watch.4.5 years: The battery died last week, but I was able to replace it myself and the batteries are really cheap. There are now a few extremely minor scratches on the crystal, but unless you are looking for them, you won't see them. The band is still holding up strong and the rest of the watch has nothing more than some casual wear, minus the watchband covers which were both removed and unnecessary. I'm still not sure of the purpose of those covers, other than cosmetics. I can't say for sure whether the watch runs slow or fast because I have generally set my watches about 4–5 minutes ahead.This will be my last update. I have been wanting an analog watch for a while, so I have decided to retire this one. After having this great experience with G-Shock, I have decided it is time for an upgrade and will be replacing it with a G-Shock GSTB400.

Es un excelente Casio G-shock. Es un reloj que se percibe resistente y duradero, con un diseño un tanto "futurista", el cuál a pesar de que es un reloj que salió a la venta en los 90's, no se percibe anticuado.Me gustó mucho que es un reloj con unas medidas no muy grandes como suele suceder con la mayoría de los G-shocks y ya puesto en la muñeca se mira muy bien.En la pantalla principal, se muestra la hora, ya sea en formato de 12 ó 24 horas, se muestra también el día de la semana, el mes y el día del mes. También se muestra una animación que va contando los segundos de diez en diez.El reloj cuenta con alarma, temporizador de cuenta regresiva y cronómetro. Aunque se esté usando la opción de temporizador ó de cronómetro, siempre se mostrará la hora en pantalla (parte superiór).El accionamiento de los pulsadores es muy bueno y se sienten bien al tacto, pero lo que me gusta es que estan por debajo del nivel de la carcaza, lo que hace que no se pulse por accidente ningún botón.La iluminación con la que cuenta el reloj es excelente (iluminator) y se activa pulsando el botón gris con la letra "G". Con ésto no se tiene ningún problema en mirar la hora en cualquier lugar con poca ó nula iluminación ambiental.El reloj cuenta con una protección de silicón gris, la cuál va atornillada a la caja y protege la parte posterior del reloj en caso de que llegara a sufrir una caida.Lo único que no me agrada en éste reloj es la correa, que aunque se siente muy bien al tacto y tiene la hebilla de acero, no tiene las protuberancias donde se junta la correa con la caja del reloj como suelen tenerlos otros relojes g-shocks como el DW-6900 por dar un ejemplo. Entonces esto ocasiona que la correa no abrace muy bien y ergonómicamente a la muñeca y constantemente el reloj se gira un poco. En mi caso opté por colocarle unos adaptadores de acero inoxidable negros, con los cuales se le puede poner cualquier correa de 22milímetros, en este caso le puse una correa de silicón en color negro con hebilla negra.
Mind blowing watch, sturdy, very rough and tough
I m happy that product is not fake and it's actual G- shock watch from Casio, if you have used G-shock before then I don't think so I have to write anything about it here because it's understood. But still for new users I would say go for it blindly. G-shock is a very good product of Casio and I Have used it before and recently I bought it for my boyfriend. He loved it.
