5.0 out of 5 stars Be Careful!
Let me paint you a picture... It was a quiet evening, just me, my couch, and a fresh box of 36 REESE'S Peanut Butter Cups. The plan was simple: have one pack while I binge a new show. What could go wrong?I opened the pack. The perfect combination of milk chocolate and creamy peanut butter whispered sweet nothings to my taste buds. "Just one more," I told myself as I reached for a second package. By the time the first episode ended, I had mysteriously worked my way through five packs. "Okay, but seriously, last one," I muttered, more to the REESE'S than to myself.Cut to the end of the night. The show was long forgotten, and I was surrounded by a sea of empty brown wrappers. My hands and lips were coated in chocolate and my stomach was sending me signals that I had made a grave mistake. And yet... was it really a mistake? I regret nothing.

I like to keep these around when the grandchildren come over because they enjoy them so much
5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite candy, but a problem
My 4th order of these. First 2 were great, insulating packaging with ice packs. The last 2 were not packed the same and the candy had melted. If you've had butter cups after melting you know they do not taste good. At all. I'm so disappointed.
4.0 out of 5 stars Beware of tempiture
These were the best. I only took one star away because it was a melted mess so I threw them in the freezer and boom, they came back to life again. These are fresh, I have ordered from other sellers on here and they were not fresh and the wrapping was full of air, not these. These are a great value, very fresh and our family will be regular customers from now on. I understand that the weather isn't under your control but if people just throw them in the freezer for a bit they are perfect once they settle back. Thanks for the great product. I have to stop ordering from here or I will gain too much weight. This is such a wonderful deal it's too hard to resist.
5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the wait
They're REESE'S. What's not to love, right? Well yeah, once they arrived. I was a little hesitant to order these from this seller because of the reviews. Quite a few reported that theirs arrived either melted or expired. But the price was right so I decided to take the chance. After an unexpected delay change in a 3-day delivery window and then another delay, these finally arrived. I am pleased to say, they arrived in great condition and were not expired. So now back to... they're REESE'S and they were worth the wait.
5.0 out of 5 stars Classic treat, a test in self control and moderation
A choice that was probably against my best interest. These arrived in perfect shape. I immediately realized I wouldn’t be able to control myself and that I’d probably eat the entire box within a short period of time, so I started giving them away to coworkers, friends, neighbors, the pizza delivery guy etc. They’re a big hit with everyone. Despite society’s various rises and falls, Reese’s peanut butter cups have remained consistent.
3.0 out of 5 stars Previously Melted
I happen to live in the same state as Bolo’s headquarters. We had a warm summer but now the daily temperatures are in the low 60’s or lower. These temperatures will not melt the peanut butter cups. So when I received my 2 bags yesterday and the high temp for yesterday was barely in the mid 60’s I immediately opened the box and both bags were nice and cool to the touch. I picked up one bag and I was feeling a few cups through the bag and I could EASILY feel the big distortion of the cups and I knew immediately that these cups had once been melted and now have hardened. I had to see for myself, so I opened one bag and two of the cups that I randomly selected. Sure enough they were not looking too healthy. The gloss sheen was gone and the chocolate was wavy, obviously a result of becoming cooler. The peanut butter filling had an appearance of being old and dry. I no longer felt my craving for a peanut butter cup but I had to taste one to confirm my suspicions. I took a bite of 1 of the 2 I had chosen. It tasted dull and not like the Reeses Peanut Butter Cups that I grew up tasting. You know what I mean….. a crisp chocolate cup with a slightly grainy/sweet/salty peanut buttery filling that we all have grown up loving. Well, none of that was present and because of that I was highly disappointed. I compared the BB date on the bag and the other packages of cups in the bag. All information on the packaging is complete and correctly displayed. I see a lot of reviews showing the different numbers on the packaging and if you don’t know how to decipher it can lead one to believe that the dates are suspicious. What you are looking at on the individual cups are the plant #/ID and the Line #. The date is written one year from manufacture date and the lower numbers indicate the time of manufacture. So these cups were made in September, last month. The melting caused the wax on the chocolate surface to dissolve and the filling lost its texture and taste when the melting process caused the butter fats and oils to separate from the sugar, leaving a dryish light looking filling, weak on taste and lacking the texture that is associated with peanut butter cups. The chocolate cup is grainy and has a dull matte appearance and no longer has that crisp kinda snap but instead it has lost its butterfat causing the chocolate to become flaky and crumbly. If anyone has left the butter in a microwave for too long and then stuck in back into the refrigerator to cool, will notice that the butter is now slightly grainy and different in appearance. Normally we quickly stir the butter and all seems fine but you can’t do that with peanut butter cups. So there you have it Peanut Butter Cup 101. But even with all that information and knowing that they are not expired still doesn’t make them look or taste good.So the question is simple and to quote a famous movie star in his role of a detective ….. “Well, Do you feel lucky Punk?” That’s what I feel about this situation. Roll the dice and hope you are one of those who receive a perfect bag of peanut butter cups or one of us that didn’t.Your choice. Good Luck
