I purchase this gas tank for my OBS Ford F250. It was easy to install through it appears to be a bit smaller than the original. However, it doesn't matter. This was an awesome value for the money spent. I would not hesitate to order the tank from this seller again. Again you can't beat the price.

Put into a 1997 F-250 HD XLT with a 7.5L (460) engine and it fit. I have put in other after market tanks into the 90's F-150 too and all aftermarket brands need some adjusting on the welded seams/fins on the side of the tank. The original Ford tanks had nearly flat fins/seams on the side where the tank straps hold the tank in but after a few nasty words and a poly mallet the tank will fit.

Painted not bare metal
Everything looks good, tank was painted/powder coated, not bare metal as the photo shows. I had to take a crescent wrench and bend the side tabs up a bit so that the straps that hold the tank fit properly. Lock ring is very durable and chrome, which is nice.
