5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent ink

The color is richly pigmented, providing a vibrant and visually appealing appearance to my writing. I have observed that it performs exceptionally well on paper, with no noticeable bleeding, which contributes to a clean and professional finish. Additionally, the ink flows smoothly from my pen, enhancing the overall writing experience and making it quite enjoyable.
5.0 out of 5 stars So smooth-best ink ever
This is the best ink I have ever used for my fountain pen. So smooth! Love the color “purple,” as well.Feel like the pen is flying on the paper.I am so glad that I chose “ Waterman” this time. It was a good challenge. I use Waterman ink for my Parker fountain pen am I am so happy for the outcome. Thanks!
5.0 out of 5 stars Good, safe ink; a nice blue
This was my second order of Waterman Serenity Blue ink. The ink is well behaved in any pen and doesn't stain pens. It is a serene medium to dark blue with some shading depending on the pen and nib, suitable for most any use. It has a slight periwinkle tint, but that isn't usually apparent. On non-absorbent paper (such as some greeting cards) it can also have a red sheen, but again that is not usually apparent on regular paper. The glass bottle is very attractive and traditional but not fancy. It is well designed to facilitate getting the last amount of ink from the bottle by sitting the bottle on one of its side angles. For an ink that is not marked as being permanent, it has good water resistance when dry. I've not tested it to see if it's truly permanent. The bottle is marked "France," which is nice.My first order, several years ago, had no problems. My recent order, however, was not satisfactory because it appears this is not a new package of ink. The box is not in good condition, with worn corners and bulges and the top taped shut with a big piece of white tape or label. This was to be part of a gift (with a pen) and will totally not work for that because the box looks awful. Also, the bottle is not as full as expected, but that alone would not be a problem. It's not worth shipping back, but I contacted Bolo and they said they would send me a new bottle. I can't ask for more than that, other than it would have been nice if I could have completed the gift today instead of next week. If there is any further problem, I'll edit this review. I do appreciate their response. EDIT: I received the new bottle of ink just as promised. The second box looked a little better but had minor damage. I gave up and gave the ink without the box.None of this has anything to do with the quality of the actual ink or Waterman, so I did not deduct a star. I also did not deduct any stars for packaging, as there is nothing inherently wrong with Waterman's bottle and box when it is new and undamaged. Hopefully this was just a warehouse fluke and will be resolved as promised.
4.0 out of 5 stars Sticker was offset 😕
I love this brand of ink— I got one in black, and the bottle is just so beautiful, it makes it feel like a premium ink. However, in my most recent purchase of a blue in, the sticker was offset significantly (even a corner of it hangs off the edge of the bottle) which destroys this look/feel of an elegant premium product, and makes it feel like a cheap toy. So, while the ink is fine, the mistake on the bottle really does make it less enjoyable to use
5.0 out of 5 stars Very high quality ink. Kind of a Royal Blue to my eye
This ink is a bit of a legend...and the price (as of this writing) is very reasonable. Low, even. It's a lovely ink and a terrific value, but it's not like a midnight blue or blue-black. It's a medium-dark blue that borders on being a Royal Blue...good for signing documents and writing letters.
5.0 out of 5 stars A truly beautiful color of a fountain pen ink!
The color is so lovely, and as I usually share my inks with her but I didn’t want to share a single converter full!!! Therefore, I purchased one whole bottle just for her for Christmas. And yes, an other purple fountain pen. I find that this ink is of a good quality as well as a nice steady flow rate, and the shade is (in my opinion) truly beautiful! I have many purple shades and this one is now one of my most cherished colors! It’s a good gift for a user of fountain pens! Thank you
5.0 out of 5 stars Classic ink. Best value in a blue fountain pen ink.
Serenity Blue is a classic ink that has been around a long time, although it used to be called "Florida Blue" in the past. It's a very affordable ink, but performs above its price range. It's well behaved, isn't prone to drying out, and easy to clean from a pen while still being waterproof enough to read the original writing. It's one of those inks people tend to use as a default ink because it works so well that you'll judge other newer inks based on how well it performs in comparison to Serenity Blue. But there's more. Fountain pen inks have this tendency to concentrate and get darker the longer they stay in a pen (likely due to slowly drying out), so inks tend to be lighter after a fresh refill and darkest as the ink supply is closer to empty. What surprised me with this ink is that it starts out as a standard office-friendly medium blue ink, but as time goes on, it pushes more towards a blue-black and eventually a blue-black with considerable red sheen. I didn't notice a lot of red sheen when I made ink swatches, it was very subtle. But after using it in practice for a while, I noticed quite a lot of pretty sheen that tends to only be prevalent in more expensive inks. But every shade from its lightest to darkest is still a nice blue ink. I expected to merely use this ink as an inexpensive ink for the office, but I didn't expect it would be one of my favorite inks.

Secado rápido y sin problema.
Tinta de qualidade
Melhor tinta para canetas tinteiro. Uso há anos.
Excellent
Very good ink! Used it with multiple nibs, and am quite happy with the texture, color, viscosity, and time to dry. Works well with cheap paper, worn-out nibs, and does not stain them too bad. Plus it is a really nice and classy looking bottle - proper vintage look and feel. Excellent product!
Confiable, excelente calidad
Dobry atrament.
