For the longest time I did not know this product existed.But now I have used it several times. You dont generally need a lot. A little puffpuff into the keylock, maybe dust your key with it, and then run the key in and out of the keyhole. It does a good job of loosening up all the mechanisms in there. Great for maintenance to keep locks working well. Keep the life of a lock going by using this every few months When you feel the lock getting stiffer.Can be used to help with trickier locks, though not 100% of the time will it work if its seized up or something really bad. But still better than nothing, and will not create rust to try.Do gotta get a hang of squeezing it into the lock though.My home lock is buttery smooth now though.

Yeah yeah I know, silicone this, silicone that, silicone cat in a silicone hat. PTFE, molybdenum, whatever rhyme you devise, truth be told, this graphite is pretty awesome for interior stuff because there's no solvent evaporating through my house. It can safely be used on so many things, and with no sticky aftermath, temporary or otherwise. And it's pretty inexpensive. Downside is it does leave visible residue if you're not careful. Upside is it's easy enough to be careful, plus all of the aforementioned benefits. If I had to carry one lubricant on me for household stuff this would be it, and I do.

Bought the graphite to free up sticky lock cylinder on our vehicles and home. Works great if you can get the graphite into the cylinder/hole. For lock cylinders, it was easiest to coat the ridges of the key with powder, insert the key into the cylinder, repeating the process a few times until everything frees up. It can get messy.

Works great in locks. My lock was hanging up not wanting to let the key turn. Now the turns feels smoother than petting a kitten. Oh Yah

I thought I had to replace the lock, but I came across this and ordered it. It's a powder. I stick the nozzle in the lock and squeezed a couple of times. The lock does not stick at all and hasn't for months. The problem is how toxic graphite is. The warnings say don't breath the dust because it is toxic and causes cancer. Every time I open the door, I clean the key with a wet wipe and I clearly see the toxic black/gray dust on the wipe that was in my key grooves. I still see the dust after a couple of months. I couldn't recommend the product to anyone because of its toxicity. But it works great!
Great Lubricant for Locks!!! Performs as Advertised!!!
The key was seizing in the lock of my apartment door. After applying this AGS MZ-5 fine graphite lubricant, the key effortlessly slip in and out of the lock, as it should.

Disappointed
The tip was difficult to cut as directed on the package resulting in a hole larger then should be. Now too much graphite pours out and spills everywhere. What graphite did make it into the lock does not seem to have much of an effect.
