5.0 out of 5 stars good quality
These are high quality red lentils. The lentils are small, very clean and taste amazing. I see some bad reviews but I can only vouch for the 8lb bag. These particular lentils are small and have a nice twinge of sweetness. This brand comes without husk or hulls, no rocks or other debris,AND they taste so good. I have eatin lentils for a long time, and these are a higher quality. I bought a 25lb bag from another Bolo company that grows lentils, assuming lentils were lentils. WRONG, those 25lb bag from the farm are terrible red lentils that are full of lentil husks, larger lentils that do not cook well, they almost look like grains of barley mixed in. This Masoor Daal brand is excellent. Dont be like me and try to save 20-30 cents a lbs, you will curse those "bulk" companies that sell cast off rejected lentils that are not properly sized or clean. This is worth the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Clean, intact, and fresh
These arrived quickly and were well packed. The lentils were clean, intact, and fragrant. They cooked up extremely well. They were a delight for those who never had red lentils before. Highly recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great value
Great value for the price. I have made several red lentil stews for family and friends and each time all are delighted with taste and quality of product. This is my go to soup when a loved one is ill and in need of some TLC. Easy to prepare with excellent results. Simple staple to have on hand, cooks quickly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good stuff for dal and quick vegetarian soup base
These are my favorite red lentils. Not that pricey, excellent flavor, and they make a smooth, creamy dal. I also use them to thicken up soups and vegetarian chili and lentils are a great source of protein. You have to soak beans overnight, but these things cook up in half an hour. Great for lazy vegetarians in search of legumes.
5.0 out of 5 stars Bought these for my “prepper” cupboard.

It’s almost more than 2 years i am getting this it’s perfect, arrive on time, taste good,😊
Very disappointed
I was so looking forward to making my favourite curried soup with these lentils, and they proved to be old, tough and bitter. I'll be going back to grocery store lentils—I had much better luck with their quality.
