Update #2: Ya'll I can't believe it is 2019 !! My clippers still work as new. I joke because I was in the practice of getting a new pair every few years, but I'd recommend these as much today as I did then. Mine have ZERO issues to this day. I forgot about this review till just now but thought I'd update you all ! 7 years with NO issues!EDIT: Its been 9 months and I STILL LOVE this trimmer. I see soo many reviews about people saying the blade wasn't sharp this and the adjustment tool didnt work that. I'm just going to say that they must not have followed the directions or knew what they were doing. With the adjuster it allows you to Zero gap the blade so that it is so sharp you cant press it against your skin or drag it without it cutting you. I have NO idea what they were doing lol. I'm still VERY happy with mine. Very little maint. if any has been required to keep these going well. Buy these trimmer, take care of them, and you'll never need another pair. Simple as that.Honestly, I already had a pair of andis T-edgers, but in a strange series of events I left those at the in laws in Kentucky. After realizing I'd left them, I decided to make a move and grab another pair, but after some reading I came across these trimmers, and decided to give them a shot.Packaging-------------The trimmers themselves came in a nice box packaged with instructions, a trimmer adjustment tool, 3 guards ( 1.5, 1, 1/2 ), trimmer oil, and a blade guard. The package was more than adequate and was just as you'd expect.Trimmer-------------The trimmer is a nice black, grey, and kind of shiny chrome look. Its very interesting looking, and fits nicely into your hand. It is a bit smaller than my Andis, and I heard online a few places that it feels like a toy. After holding it I can promise you its very sturdy, and has some weight as to let you know this is NOT a toy or a walmart trimmer. The on off switch resides along the bottom of the unit, as does a hook to hang the trimmers and the power cord. It is smaller than my andis but as a large man, I can assure you its easy to hold and still feels ergonomic in my hands. I'd like to note these do not get hot EVER! I lined up myself and my roomates with this and it doesn't get nearly as warm as my t edgers did. The RED ones are the newer ones, and initially I was just going to return these for fear they wouldn't be as good, but after using them there is NO way I'd return these. They are EXCELLENT !blades------------I was upset at first that the RED detailer is the newer one with a slightly larger blade, but remember that LARGER doesnt mean better ! Out the box this comes with a fairly sharp T-blade, that cuts ok. After pulling out the instructions and using the trimmer blade adjustment tool that came in the package I EASILY was able to adjust these as sharp as I wanted. WHEN I TELL YOU this is the SHARPEST blade I've ever had, trust me. Once you adjust this you have to be careful !!! There will be no need to go over lines more than once or twice MAX. it left a SUPER sharp line that almost didnt look real! I actually went and adjusted them again after the first few shaves to make them a little less sharp. You won't have to press or anything. A simple light hand will do just fine !I'm not even worried about other trimmers. This will get as sharp as you want them too ! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED !overall value-----------------I didnt understand why there was such a big split between these and the t-edgers from Andis. I do now. They both have their differences, and honestly both can get the job done. I prefer the slightly smaller size of the wahl detailer, and I also prefer the fact that this wahl doesn't get hot ! It took a half second or so to get used to the size, but after that it wasnt an issue even in the least. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to anyone !WELL I did my best to give you a SOLID review on these trimmers, as I know sometimes you need a good firsthand review to make a decision. I have owned BOTH the andis T-Edgers and these. I prefer these for a few reasons but know they can both get the job done. I'm confident that if you order these you'll be MORE than happy.PS. I'm not a worker of Wahl or Bolo, but I feel when I come across a good product I want you all to know ! Happy trimming !

this is great trimmer. i contemplated getting the peanut because of size but after reading a lot of mixed reviews about quality and cutting i settled on this instead. but not before first getting an Andis Headliner for about $14 less. i hated the Andis for several reasons and i regretted getting even if it was at a savings because in the long run it was like throwing money away. the power switch (which is in a terrible location i might add) died on it just after warranty (oh joy) and i will never buy another Andis product again. it cut well, that is when i could get the blade to not jump all around (terrible annoying design on the blade mounting hardware and tensioner, weak design). In contrast, Wahl makes quality stuff all around and even their low end products perform well and delivery great value. the Detailer is great what more can i say, it cost a bit more but is easily worth it, built with quality and durable parts and i highly recommend getting it in addition to purchasing an extra t-wide replacement blade. the motor is a powerful rotary motor that cuts well and you'll slice through nicely without issues especially with a new blade (dat t-wide). the switch is in a perfect position and i love this style of switch, just works so much better than anything else i've seen on a clipper or trimmer and i am confident the switch isn't going to flake out like the faulty Andis headliner switches (uhg, i hate where the have it on the headliner). lastly the cord, is really thick and some where around 5-6 feet in length (a lot longer than my clippers any way), and it just goes to show you that Wahl did not skimp on anything with these trimmers, you will even appreciate the metal hook in the back for hanging it up when your done for safe storage. Hope they keep making stuff this good because i'll keep buying it.-ps @ the 1 star crying about it cutting them, you have to gap the blade with the gap tool such that you back it off just enough from the edge so it still cuts hair close but wont carve you up when drag it along the back of you neck or under the chin. some like zero gap bt with these its best to back it off. would have thought this was common sense but apparently not, think about it, why else would Wahl be nice enough to include the gap accesory if not for that purpose.-pps wow people, are these 1 stars Bolo reviews or product reviews because by the sounds of it, the majority are just complaints about Bolo. sure mine arrived dull too so what that has nothing to do with the product, slapped a new t-wide and good to go plus have a back up blade that i will sharpen later.

Muy buen producto. Es pequeña, por lo que se adapta a zonas específicas y de difícil acceso. Los accesorios son los especificados y aunque son pocos, son muy útiles. La potencia es buena para el tamaño. Después de unos meses me quedo tranquilo y satisfecho.

Por ahora todo perfecto, excepto...
No tardó en llegar, sólo en 2 días de una semana que se suponía que llegaría, el empaque estaba un poco maltratado pero el producto en perfecto estado, llevo una semana con la rasuradora y funciona perfectamente, corta al ras de la piel ideal para barba. Un pequeñisimo detalle es que la parte plástica que dice "Detailer" está un poquito floja y se hunde, no sé si fui yo o ya venía así pero no afecta en nada por ahora... Si pasa algo fuera de lo común, actualizaré esta reseña...Actualizacion 16/09/19Después de 11 meses, con buenos cuidados, el cable empezó a mostrar un pequeño cortocircuito en la conexión a la rasuradora, a cierta inclinación se corta la energía y deja de funcionar, es muuy menor por ahora y no me ha vuelto a pasar, pero si está para considerar...Actualización 2022Casi 5 años después, sigue funcionando a todo dar, solo se calienta más rápido y la tengo que aceitar mñas seguido, ya ni me acordaba del cortocircuito, tal vez fue cosa de solo un rato o no sé

Llegó como se me indicó, equipo nuevo. Apenas empezaré a usarlo, seguro y funcionará de maravilla, como mi antigua maquina.
