About this item:
Door-Ease, renowned as 'The Original' no-mess stick lubricant, has revolutionized the way we approach lubrication in both household and workshop settings. Its unique, clean, and convenient stick form makes it an exemplary tool for effortlessly stopping squeaks and stickiness in a variety of applications, without the typical mess associated with traditional greases and oils. One of the standout features of Door-Ease is its weatherproof nature, ensuring its effectiveness is not compromised by varying environmental conditions. This characteristic is particularly beneficial for outdoor applications or areas exposed to changing weather, as it continues to provide reliable lubrication while simultaneously preventing wear and tear on exposed surfaces. The formulation of Door-Ease is ingeniously designed to prevent the possibility of over-application, a common concern with liquid lubricants. This ensures that each application delivers just the right amount of lubricant, optimizing its use and preventing wastage or residue. Furthermore, the versatility of Door-Ease extends to its compatibility with a multitude of materials. Whether it's applied to metal, wood, glass, plastic, or rubber, its efficacy remains uncompromised, making it a highly versatile tool in any maintenance arsenal. This adaptability renders Door-Ease ideal for a wide array of applications – from ensuring smooth operation of sliding doors and window channels, curtain rod slides, and latches, to maintaining the functionality of doors, drawers, and zippers. It also proves invaluable in automotive contexts for lubricating sunroofs and seat tracks, as well as in more specialized applications such as treating screws, nails, and even the blades of power and handsaws. The breadth of its uses is a testament to its utility, catering to both the everyday needs of a homeowner and the more specific requirements of a professional workshop.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Very Well!
I got this to used on windows and window tracks on older vehicles. It make them roll up and down much better, smooth, easy, quiet and without catching and jerking. So, I used it on power windows, too.I then used it on auto door latches and strikers, hood hinges and rods, then on to building door latches and strikers, and on combination locks. It makes them work much better. It got rid of a hinge squeak on one door. Now, I want to use it on seat belts that are a little difficult to fasten, house window tracks, more auto door hinges, latches, and windows, and on cattle chute and squeeze doors that are out in the weather. But I misplaced it, so am getting more tubes to put in different places so that it is handy when needed.Unlike oil, it is not dirty or sticky, and does not attract dust. I do not know how long it will last, but is it easy to put on without making a mess. The only downside I can see is that it is difficult to apply into small spaces like hinges and locks, but some can be picked off the stick with an appropriate tool for that.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very simply to apply and works instantly. Great product.
I love how very to use and the instant improvement in sticking doors and windows. Like magic!
5.0 out of 5 stars Price and quality
The lube stick that I purchased seems to be quite effective when applying it on the weatherstripping on my car doors. Well done! J.E.
4.0 out of 5 stars Super Handy Door and Drawer Lube
When I was a kid in the 70’s my dad always had a tube of Door Ease around and used it quite a bit, especially for door strikers in both vehicles and buildings. I had some tight fitting doors that were hard to close, so I thought I would look to see if there was something out there similar to to the Door Ease my dad used to use. I was thrilled to find out it was still available and immediately ordered 3 tubes, one of home, one for the garage and one for work. This a great lube that’s not too messy or greasy and is super easy to use. It works great on heavy duty zippers and just about anything that slides. The only reason I’m giving this product 4 of 5 stars is that instead of the nice metal tube with a cap it used to come in decades ago, it now comes with a cardboard tube that doesn’t completely cover the lube stick, so you can’t just toss this into a drawer or tool box. This is a great product and I highly recommend it.

I'm an old guy and this is the stuff we always used for car doors. Still works great.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Lubricant.
Got this to quiet a squeak in the rubbing pieces of my kayak, which has worked perfectly. But, I've been more impressed with the how it has made my heavy sliding door move more easily than anything else I've tried in the 15 years since I've had it.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good Product, Poor Packaging
Seems like the same, good old dry lubricant sold for many years as "Door Ease," but rather than a capped metal tube, this comes in a round plastic sleeve, open at both ends. Advancing the contents as it's used is awkward and messy, plus which a small plastic bag is necessary for storage so everything around it doesn't get gummed up.
5.0 out of 5 stars S m o o t h operation
I used Lube Stik on 6 sliding doors, including 4 that are extra tall and heavy and have a history of being hard to open and close. No longer - this stuff works really well and now the doors open and close easily!
Works perfect, shipping was good as well.
