Our sleeping bags were used after a bad hurricane came through and were stored afterwards for some time. ONE WASH WAS ALL THEY NEEDED to rid them of the musty smell they had after pulling them out of the storage containers. It was my own mistake, miscalculating the amount needed to clean all of our gear. I was able to use this size for 3 loads. Unfortunately, I had to buy another bottle. Pay attention to the little details like size, and you will be in good shape to keep your outdoor gear clean.

Idk what to really write, as this is my 1st tech wash. I had bought a Carhartt storm defender rain jacket. Light/Packable. But the stank of chemical was awful! Idk how the heck I didn't notice in the store. I also had long sleeves on so didn't realize how uncomfortable it was, as i was originally wanting a summer jacket for over a summer top.I could have brought it back but really liked it. I bought this Nikwax tech wash and while i had never worn the jacket, i cant give advice on how it removes dirt/sweat/etc, i was hoping itd take chemical stank outI handwashed it. 1st, half hour soak in vinegar, then dumped baking soda over it. Rinsed. Then used nikwax, i found the smell Very clean (reviews mentioned smell, i actually really liked it)Its ridiculous that a 10oz bottle, gotta use 5oz thats half bottle, and haven't even worn it yet. But anyway after it was washed , hang dried, the smell is not as bad , not gone either but dealable. Ok so, it seems much less ? , waterproof?!? Seemed way more beads when 1st put in sink, after washing the jacket is softer, seems to absorb water now.This is all from looking in sink not wearing it out.Ill find out when summer ends i guess

This wash is magical. It refreshed an old lightweight rain layer that had been “wetting out” and seemed hopeless, but now works just like new! Totally worth it. For anyone else using apartment or shared laundry with a locking lid and limited options, this wash still works if you need to put it in the basin before the water. It’s not recommended as per the directions but my gear came out fine. Really happy with this product and will absolutely get it again even though I used half the container for one load (4 items).

I was needing to clean two North Face backpacks we have had for 10 years. After some research, this product repeatedly came up as a good solution, so I gave it a shot. I put the backpacks in the tub, barely covered them with water, and added half the bottle of solution. It immediately went to work and with barely any agitation the water showed its results. For some stubborn areas, I used a brush and everything came out easily. The scent helped freshen up everything even further. In the end, these backpacks came out good as new. In fact, my wife changed her mind about wanting to replace her bag. I figure this product would work as intended with all sorts of outdoor gear, especially on hydrophobic rain gear.

I was getting ready for a overnight trip and realized my Bike Jacket was filthy. Researching how to clean it, i happened upon the Nikwax product.Ordering it on Bolo was quick and economical.I followed the instructions on removing the armor and prep to wash.The jacket came out looking like new!

Utilizzo questo prodotto da anni per lavare le giacche impermeabili. Prodotto che trovo indispensabile per permettere il mantenimento dell'impermeabilità ed evitare che i tessuti tecnici si rovinino. Ancor meglio se utilizzato insieme allo spray impermeabilizzante della stessa linea. Qualità e lunga durata dei tessuti tecnici assicurata!
