Some reviews say these don't last or whatever. I have had two of these on my boat for 4 years, outside, in the elements. No problems. I bought two more to hang dock lines and a hose. Convenient and easy, especially for 1.25" top rails.

We have used the snap in style, not as reliable as twist "lock". This larger style hold enough line, we have "5/8 and 3/4" line 50 ft, so it needs to be large.

We have a small, center console boat. There's not much room to store the lines, and nowhere to put them when they are wet. This is the perfect solution to keep them off the deck when you want them to dry. Super useful.

If your boat rocks at all, the holders can stop hanging perfectly vertical and the bottom gets pushed back, which takes the pressure off the locking wheel and the fender drops. Too bad because they're pretty easy to use. So they are great on a day with no wind or wakes from other boats. Otherwise pass. These are nice, heavy duty straps to hold up even the heaviest line to your boat's railing. Both the strap itself and the fasteners have held up well for us even under continuous use in the Florida sun. I recommend this product.
