5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommend for anyone looking to incorporate essential fatty acids into their diet!
I just really love Flora Certified Organic Flax Seed Oil. Their products always impress me with their care and freshness. The cold-pressed and unrefined process ensures the highest quality, and the oil tastes as good as flax oil can. It's great knowing it's non-GMO, gluten-free, and kosher, and the amber glass bottle helps preserve its integrity. Highly recommend for anyone looking to incorporate essential fatty acids into their diet!

5.0 out of 5 stars I like it
The product came well packaged and before the time that I was expecting. The flavor taste delicious and pure. Good quality oil. I love that is in a dark glass bottle as it should be.
4.0 out of 5 stars The oil is lighter than I expected
Last time I purchased the item it was not sealed properly and about one-fifth of the oil leaked out into the Bolo paper wrapping it was sent in. I ended up getting a credit and ordering again. Threw out the unsealed bottle. Otherwise the oil is OK, no taste and a little thinner than I expected.

1.0 out of 5 stars Flora Makes Great Oil; However, Flaxseed Oil is Toxic
After taking flaxseed oil on and off for the past 5 years, I regret that I didn't do more research. Yes, it does contain high levels of plant-based omega 3's (and no other nutrients); however, the body also metabolizes it into cyanide, which is, "one of the most rapidly lethal poisons known to man." Flaxseed oil is also a laxative. This means that the body does not want it in it's system, so it tries to expel it quickly (just like you would expect from a toxic substance). There is some sporadic data on flaxseeds, but it is limited; much of the data concerns whole or ground flaxseeds. One tablespoon of milled flaxseeds has the equivalent amount of fat as 5 tablespoons of flaxseed oil, which implies that there is at least 5 times as much cyanide in the oil vs. the ground seed. The nutrients in oils are much more bio-available than ground seeds, which further suggests that the amount of cyanide exposure is higher and more acute.Signs of cyanide toxicity are: headache, dizziness, mild confusion, dehydration, abdominal cramping, loose stool, nausea, and vomitingThere is no reason whatsoever to risk chronic cyanide poisoning for the nutrients in flaxseeds. You can easily get everything you need from other, less toxic sources. For omega 3's, you can substitute chia seeds (I'm currently waiting for my first shipment of chia seed oil). You can also increase your leafy green intake. Try juicing kale (use ½ lime to mellow the bitterness) and/or eat some edamame (soybeans in the pod - very nutritious).A few days after I stopped taking flaxseed oil, my body and subsequent 'movements' when back to a normal that I remember from 5+ years ago. I will never take flaxseed oil again. I just have to figure out what to do with the full bottle I have left over. Another name for flaxseed is ‘linseed’, the oil of which is used on furniture (yet another clue that re-branded flaxseeds are NOT a health food). Maybe I'll filter it and apply it to our cutting board or other bare wood furniture.I hope this review leads you to reevaluate your use of this toxic oil. Good luck in your health pursuits. Logical Perseverance is the tool you must have to figure these things out. Good Quality Flax Seed Oil.
Quality Flax Seed Oil. Fast delivery and the glass bottle (dark brown to help preserve freshness) was very well packed to prevent breakage. The bottle is rather large in circumference making pouring with one hand difficult if you have small or medium sized hands.
Great Product!
I find there is conflicting evidence on the health benefits of flax Oil, but I still use it; almost always in a smoothie. I like the flavor and the creamy texture it gives a smoothie. I keep in the fridge (as they suggest) and probably for a bit longer then what is suggested on the bottle, but I haven't noticed in degradation in product. No off-smells, change in color, viscosity, etc. I have tried on salads, but prefer a good olive oil instead. Is it good value for money?? I don't know. Not cheap in my opinion, but from shopping around this is the best deal I've found.
My dog likes it
I bought this for my dog, and seems to help him maintain a nice shiny coat without the fishy smell. He likes the taste. Will buy again !

I like it because it served its purpose.
