I bought these because I'm on a high protein diet with a ton of carbs and fiber as part of an effort to gain lean mass. I was having some trouble digesting all of the food so my nutritionist recommended this product. It definitely works because my stomach is less upset, and I think it helps my body make the most of the food that I'm eating. It has kind of a gross taste before you wash it down but the taste doesn't linger at all. I take one with every meal. Usually I take a bite or two of my meal first so there's a little something in my stomach when I take them, and then I continue with the rest of the meal. I don't have any issues with this supplement causing me stomach irritation and I have chronic stomach ulcers so I would say it's a keeper in my routine. I will definitely purchase again!

This simply helps your body do what it already does: break down food in your digestive system. It is not an anti-gas or antacid, but it does address bloating, etc caused by failure to digest something. I've used this both as a preventative (taken before or while eating something that might not process well) and after symptoms start to occur. Personally, I have found it works better after symptoms (owie belly, bloating, etc) appear or immediately after eating (but before symptoms occur), but everyone is different. In those cases when symptoms appear, I take one and wait 20 minutes. Most of the time, the symptoms are simply gone after after the 20 has passed. Sometimes, I need a second, but I've never needed a third. I can't recommend enough; these things have been a life-changer.

Great project that I reorder all the time. I like the high potency of the different enzymes, the fact that it is full spectrum (meaning that it works on proteins, fats, and carbohydrates); and especially that it also contains betaine hydrochloride which is a stomach acid that we produce less and less of as we age and is needed to emulsify our food as it enters our stomach. I like taking it mid meal or just immediately before eating .
