5.0 out of 5 stars A great Size Beading Tray
I wanted to start beading again but I didn't have much space to devote to it. I needed a try that was smaller than what I had used in the past. This product fit the bill! In addition to having an excellent layout for working on small projects, the clear top is a huge plus! It fits snugly while being easy to remove - without flipping the tray and sending beads flying! I may buy a couple more tray so I can store various projects and set them aside when needed.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect!
I really like this working board, success for small projects and easy to save all stuff to continue later , and it’s no expensive
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my needs
I had originally been using the Beadsmith sticky mat, but I got annoyed with having to constantly rinse the fuzz/dust off of it (and then having to wait for it to dry. It also didn't hold my wooden beads or skinny spacer beads well). This one caught my eye because it not only has measurements, but a lid (!) with compartments (!!!) so I can continue working on a particular bracelet without having to put away whatever beads I used if I need to pack up and finish it later. The lid stays on pretty well, I do wish it snapped on a little tighter, as I can see it becoming worn out and not staying with extended use later on, but I supposed I could put a rubber band around it if that happens. Overall, great product for the price and has several useful features in one
4.0 out of 5 stars The review I wish I had been able to read.
Overall, I like the board but it feels like it is going to be flimsy. It’s not but it feels like it choice be. It is definitely functional. I am working with mostly 8mm beads and they stay in the grooves pretty well. My suggestion is that you consider not only what you are making, but the sizes and buy the board(s) that cater to that.Would I buy this product again? Sure.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Design Board
I love this for designing my bracelets and earrings.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Traveling Board
This bead board was perfectly fine but take note that it is small. It would be great for crafters on the go or to take with me when traveling. It would easily slip into a bag. I was looking for a larger board for my home crafting space and it was my fault for not reading the size dimensions. If you are looking for something smaller or to take on the go, this is perfect! Lightweight and practical. Good price -better than big box craft stores.
5.0 out of 5 stars Compact, light
This bead board is compact, light, and easy to use. Plus, it has a cover!!—great for traveling!! Despite its lightness, it is durable enough for light usage. My previous one is larger but still in great shape after several years. The flocked surface and compartments keep beads from rolling everywhere.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Lap Size Bead Board
In making beaded holiday tree ornaments, I found this Beadsmith Mini Bead Board fits perfectly on my lap, and has roomy compartments to easily pick up beads from.
Pricey but useful
♦ FunctionThis lidded beading board has been a game changer for me. Prior to this purchase, I regularly had to put away all my beads if I didn't have time to complete a project. Furthermore, having a beading board allows you to experiment with designs without needing to string and unstring, ultimately saving significant time. The lid is very secure despite being made of flimsier plastic than I would have liked. The board is compact while still providing sufficient space to work. I like that it has large recessed sections that allow me to sort all the beads before planning a design.♢ ConclusionI think an item like this is an indispensable asset for anyone interested in jewelry making. Nevertheless, at $25, I admit it's a bit more costly than I would have liked. If you can find it on sale for closer to $20, I'd have no trouble recommending it. However, if not, it's important to weigh your presumed use of this product against the cost. If you'll be using it often as I do, then it's a worthwhile purchase regardless of the price.
