5.0 out of 5 stars but like the other Red Mill Flour I've used I'm happy ...
So far I've only used it in Pain a Mie, but like the other Red Mill Flour I've used I'm happy with the flavor and results.Good idea to mix it with other flour prior to adding liquids to prevent clumping. Not sure why I can find all the other Red Mill flours in stores, but not this one - at least not near me.I know I will be ordering more.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Quality!
We're new to the gluten free world and Bolo Prime has been a God-send for affordable flours. My number one tip for anyone new to this is find a cookbook series you like. We chose "The Gluten Free Gourmet" series and bought them used on ebay (sorry Bolo). What you want to do is find flour mixtures that work for multiple recipes and then purchase the flours needed. Bob's Red Mill flours are FANTASTIC! Going gluten free is a HUGE investment so take some time, get comfortable with the writers of various recipe books and then, spend your money. Who ever you choose, Bob's flours are the best and well worth the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars For buns-makes all the difference
I have used potato flakes for years (usually about 2 TBS) in my bread-maker bread and sandwich/hot dog bun recipes. I recently decided to try potato flour instead and was pleasantly surprised... it was as good if not better than the instant potato flakes.If you want to sub- use 1/2 to 2/3 the amount of potato flour for the amount of potato flakes called for in the recipe. (So for my 2TBS flakes, I substitute 1- up to 1 & 1/2 TBS of the flour instead. I haven't noticed needing any additional liquid to compensate.Bob's Red Mill potato flour seemed fresh and finely ground- I am quite happy with the product.
4.0 out of 5 stars Tasted great
I bought this to use as an ingredient to camping meals. I made baked potato soup with a few other dry and powder ingredients by adding hot water and letting set for a few minutes. It tasted good and I would buy again, the only reason I give it 4 starts is because the bag isnt resealable.
5.0 out of 5 stars A little goes a long way
Well known company that produces a huge line of cooking products. Never disappointed. I prefer potato flour over regular flour nowadays and it takes very little to thicken gravy and soups.
5.0 out of 5 stars Tasty cornbread
I’m not going to lie, I use this more as cornbread than I do as cake. It is very good though and I do recommend it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great with oil or air "frying".
Puts a wonderful crunch on fried foods. Works very well with air fryers. It is now my go to for coating items for frying in oil or the hot air fryer.
bad packing
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Order received 27th oct but thpioca flour bag had split open in the box and lost 40% of the this bag.
