I love flavored coffees, but it's a) expensive and b) hard to find sugar-free options at a certain national chain. During the pandemic, I started making my own mochas at home. Finding good sugar-free chocolate sauce has been a challenge, though. Monin's is fantastic: it doesn't have an aftertaste, it comes in dark chocolate that's perfect for homemade mochas, and it doesn't clash with sugar-free flavored syrups like Da Vinci and Torani. It also makes a good, quick, sugar-free hot chocolate when added to milk and heated.

This is my second purchase from Monin, the first was a dark chocolate sugar free sauce, and both are excellent! Easy to squeeze bottles make the sauce perfect for drizzling into coffee, over sugar free ice cream, yogurt, pancakes, or anything else you can think of. My favorite way to use these sauces is in my iced protein coffees. I drizzle some around the inside of my cup, and then drizzle a bit more over the top, and viola!! You have a high protein, low sugar (2grams) coffee that rivals any coffee shop coffee!

I tried four sugar-free chocolate syrups. This was by far the best. In both thickness, texture, and flavor, it was very like a regular sugared syrup. The Hershey's had good thickness and texture but an unpleasant aftertaste. The DaVinci and Torani were too watery for pouring over ice cream, but might be better as chocolate mixers. While Monin uses Maltitol syrup as its main ingredient, Both DaVinci and Torani have water as their main ingredient.

I was using a 'double chocolate' syrup for a while in my coffee but really wanted a deep dark chocolate flavor and this is the stuff! Delicious flavor, not too thick, melts into my coffee. Absolute yum!

Very good product
Product is very tasty and a good thickness, not runny.Easy to use for a variety of uses...ice cream cakes, ice cream desserts, pastries etc. As well as cold drinks and warm.Container is really well made.I kept them to use for condiments and they work great, don't take up much space in refrigerator and easy to clean food grade.
Doesn't taste synthetic
I have tried a number of different sauces and syrups for my mochas. This syrup, along with the white chocolate is hands down the best. It doesn't taste synthetic or leave a bad aftertaste which some syrups do. Its great for mochas, or drizzled on ice cream or for hot chocolateHonestly delicious, tastes like legit chocolate

Very tasty syrup, it’s perfect for my coffee. There was a mixup during shipping and I received a different item than the one listed, seller was kind enough to send out a replacement! 10/10 :)
The best chocolate sauce
We have bought this chocolate sauce 3x now for making iced mocha coffees at home. It is superb - velvety, moderately thick and chocolate-y. The bottle works perfectly for squeezing the sauce into a glass. Highly recommend!
