I remember using this oil years ago and absolutely loved it. I decided to try it again and so pleased with the results. It’s just as good as I remembered it to be. The first thing that I noticed was how nice it smells. It’s not an overpowering scent and leaves hair smelling fresh. The next thing is how light and airy it feels. A little goes a long way. I have tried it in damp hair and dry hair and love it both ways. My hair is a bit dry and damaged due to dying it and this makes it feel healthy. It leaves it soft and silky and gives it the appearance of being healthy. I also love that fact that it really helps with frizz. It’s a great addition to my hair products. It’s very affordable too because a small dime sized amount is even too much to use. Definitely recommend it!

Nothing makes my hair shine like Biosilk. Finding a product to give my bleached to within an inch of its life hair any small anount of shine makes me happy...but so many of them come with a down side of weighing my hair down or leaving it over oily/greasy. Biosilk makes my hair stronger, softer, glossy and bouncy, I would even say it is completely weightless. Controls frizz, detailed and prevents tangles, keeps my hair looking its best. Biosilk has given me Nourished, healthy, shiny hair, period. No smoke or mirrors with this one. It does what it says, and it also smells absolutely lovely. Light and fresh and clean, no cloying or annoying fragrance and doesn't leave any noticeable buildup to weigh my hair down. Just shine and control for days. If I could only have one hair product for the rest of my days I would be hard pressed not to pick this. It does so much in such a small amount, that the price is totally worth it. One bottle lasts me close to 6 months! If you havent yet tried this, do it. There is a reason it has been around forever. I have been coming back to biosilk again and again for at least 20 yrs. it is the best.

I’m glad I took a chance on this. I have tried product after product. I have long fine hair. After I blow dry my hair I normally have a pile of dry frizzy hair left over. I used a small amount of this stuff after I towel dried my hair and it cut the frizz down by I’d say 75%. My hair also felt extra soft. I didn’t notice any smell which isn’t really a bad thing, I just wish it actually had more of a scent to it. I think this is a great product for the price and amount you get. I’m sure this will last me a long time.
5.0 out of 5 stars An oldie but a Goldie!!!! Great for fine, thin frizzy, chemically damaged hair
I had forgotten about this product. Many years ago, I had purchased from a salon and I remember the stylist demonstrating how well it worked on both hair and skin.I have fine, thin Caucasian hair that has been damaged from several years of bleach and all over drugstore box color. It has thinned over the past few years and the bottom portion of my hair is still damaged with a rough, frizzy and dry feel. I have a lot of flyaways and static due to my severely damaged hair. In the past my hair used to hold a wave, but due to damage won’t.I applied a dime sized portion evenly from mid length to root on damp hair and combing it through. At first, it may look like you applied too much as it appears greasy but trust the process! After about 10 minutes, your hair will soak it up and look so smoothe, hydrated and glossy. I have thin hair and I do not feel like it weighed it down or made it greasy or oily. It gave it some weight and looked thicker, smoother, and shinier.I have tried Olaplex and Redken bonding repair leave in, and Redken Antisnap products (which work well until your hair gets used to them), and I feel like this product worked much better for my hair type.Would definitely recommend this hair shaft smoothing product.

If your hair has been untamed and you live in a more dry and UV exposed climate, this product can help your hair behave how you'd expect it would in a less dry climate. Without the use of heat/gel/hot blowdrying tools. It can also provide relief from clarifying shampoos which affect your hair when you are in a more dry climate. Compared to Olaplex antioxidant serum no9, it is an ok dupe great for the value. It lasts longer than no9 if you have lots of hair. Less product is required than no9 for distribution. Though it makes no claims to protect hair from UV/free radicals like no9 it will help you get your hair healthier and where you want it in 3 months if you're trimming off your split ends periodically. It will weigh down more your hair than no9 and make your hair appear more fatty after the first day. Not a bad thing if you live in a arid-climate that dries out your hair. Certainly better than applying no protections or using a plant-oil for your hair inbetween washes. Unlike Olaplex no9 serum, the application lasts days, if you apply to damp hair after washing. It also has a higher viscosity that requires less amount and less applications post wash. It can save you between wash days. If you are not trying to dazzle with your hair down hairstyle on the daily and are ok with heavier/fattier appearing between washes. For example in a dry climate you might wear a protective style and a sun hat. It works very well for growing hair. The product has enabled me to grow out healthier hair, seal hair ends, and brush my hair with ease all week long. Where my hair was previously prone to daily tangling, split ends and dryness. A great product with great value. A small provision also last a while and the proce os ve ty reasonable. This product has been life changing for my hair. It is common for shampoos and washes to dry out hair, despite product claims to add moisture or body. In an arid climate, that simply doesn't apply. This product will leave hair manageable and helathier if used as directed (apply to damp hair after washing. Reapply as needed to dry hair to untangle and reduce frizz).

Es un producto que utilice por mucho tiempo, lo tuve que dejar de usar porque donde lo compraba dejaron de distribuirlo por otras marcas supuestamente mejores, pero la verdad ninguno me funciono como el Biosilk Silk Therapy, ahora que lo encontré en Bolo y lo volví a usar, sigue siendo muy buen producto.

Found out about this product from my hair dresser who put a dob the size of a dime in the palm of her hands and then massaged her hands together and then her hands through my newly permed hair. Gorgeous curls formed and using a pick was a breeze with no tangles. Hair did not feel stiff, heavy or oily after application. No more fly-away hair for me!
