I bought this for my sons as a gift. My wife has a ton of recipes collected over the years. We decided to share her treasured recipes with our sons. It took a while to replicate all her recipes on cards. But we'll worth the effort. This box is big! It has enough space to hold two generations of recipes and a blank pack of cards behind them. My boys were ecstatic to have their mom's recipes and the boxes made a handsome gift to collect additional recipes for their kids to come.

The quality of this product is exquisite. Almost looks antique with the corner construction. Love that there are no screws/nails to detract from appearance. Perfect size for 4x6 recipe cards with plastic covers. I am rewriting all my recipes to pack the wood box and gift to my adult daughter. Thanks for a quality storage box with an antique appearance.

Very sturdy, but the lid is not quite ’ square’ Visible gap when closed. Both sides hold recipe cards with no bending. Nice size. Doesn’t take up a lot of space. Will wax or varnish to seal wood, doesn’t seem finished.I would purchase again because of the nice size.

I was tired of my big recipe binder that kept falling apart, so transferred the "keeper" recipes to 4x6 cards. Very happy with the craftmanship of this wooden box. I didn't realize that the index cards were not included, so had to order them separate.

The recipe box well made and beautiful. I love the acacia wood has a beautiful grain. I like that the interior is divided and that two sets of dividers come with the box. This will last my lifetime and be a hand me down.

I absolutely LOVE this recipe box!! I did a lot of searching and comparing before purchasing two for my daughters for Christmas. This box 4x6, the perfect size, (I find the 3x5 to be too small and the 5x7 to be too large) This box is VERY well made, the dovetailed corners are hard to find in anything constructed today! I love that the hinges are mortised , also a rarely found sign of quality construction today . The use of Acacia wood is perfect for the kitchen and sustainable, environmentally friendly. Center divider, which some have complained about ~I like it, because if you have cards in a box this size, they are going to fall and not stand otherwise. and the plain slot in the top that will hold a recipe card or a recipe card in a protective holder. The wood is gorgeous and each was a little different, so every one is individual which is nice. The wood itself has a kind of sheen or appearance of depth to the grain which would blend well with either light or dark finished wood. A perfect, quality gift item!

Beautiful finish, sturdy and just looks good and strong. Can't go wrong here, also there's a slit on the top lid that holds the recipe in place, like a groove holder for cards (that come with it too!!!!)
