5.0 out of 5 stars this thing is FANTASTIC been using it since 2012
these grill are just plain fantastic! we have a 6 burger grill from around the year of 1999 and still use it once a week....we liked it so much I bought this smaller two burger unit for Christmas 2012 ... once a week I cook three hamburgers on it... IT ONLY DOES TWO AT A TIME.... it takes about a minute... honestly!!!! ONE MINUTE!!!!I like my burgers WELL DONE... I keep a digital temperature probe handy..... I put two burgers on it and press down on the top with a towel... after 20 seconds I poke a bunch of holes in the burger with the included spatula and flip it over... and poke some more holes in it and again put a little weight on the top using a towel ( the top is to hot to touch with bare hands) after I flip it I leave it for another 20 seconds and repeat flipping it once or twice... it will look pretty burned by now... I put the two burgers on a plate and put my third burger on.... while it's cooking I put the digital probe into the burger and it's always over 200 degrees all throughout the burger!!!!! so I know there is no getting sick even though it cooked in about a minute....while it's still hot I take damp / wet paper towels and wipe the top and bottom of the grill to clean it.... I do this about three times.....and it looks brand new... so EASY so perfect!!!!! easy to store and no more going outside to cook burgers... my mom uses it for grilled cheese sandwiches... it again only take seconds!!!!!great grill don't hesitate for a second! but this!!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Good enough for a charcoal snob
I normally grill over charcoal. Based on the commercials, I thought that these were cheesy and inadequate products that I wouldn't want to have anything to do with, but I changed my mind after seeing one in action at a friend's house. The things I like the most about this grill are the speed and consistency. It warms up quickly (I timed mine at 2 minutes and 17 seconds), cooks from both sides, and accurately maintains a preset temperature. Once I figure out the ideal cooking time for a given product (i.e. pre-formed patties, frozen chicken breasts, etc.), the results are very consistent and repeatable. The cooking time is typically under 3 minutes for a hamburger (2.5 minutes if you like it on the rare side) or about 4 minutes (4 to 6 according to the manual) if you like it medium to medium-well. Since it cooks from both sides and is so consistent, I can just set a timer and let it do its thing without flipping the meat or babysitting it. It is also easy to clean using the included sponge (hint: use plain water, let the water soak in for a few seconds, and wipe gently when the grill is still warm). This model is on the small side. With average-sized (4 inch diameter) patties, only one will fit at a time. This is fine when cooking for an individual or two people since the cooking time is short, but you may want a larger model if cooking for a large family.I have used mine several dozen times now and see no sign of the Teflon wearing. It seems to be durable if you use plastic utensils and clean it by wiping gently with a soft damp sponge. The ridges, downward slope, and drip tray are helpful even when not cooking fatty foods. It produces better results with less effort than a frying pan in which the drippings may boil and steam the food or dry out and stick to the food. The flavor isn't quite as nice as grilling over charcoal, but is quite decent once you figure out the ideal cooking time. It is much more convenient than charcoal with the fast warm-up and relatively low fuel (electricity) costs. For a quick lunchtime burger or chicken breast, it is just perfect and produces much better results than I expected.
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome
I really like this! It cooks great and fast! Clean up a breeze. The only thing I'd change is make the feet less slippery. It does move when opening and if your making anything with grease the grill moves a bit a causes a mess. Im adding rubber feet to mine.
4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good !
Overall is still doing great, my only wish would be to have control of the temperature. It heats up quickly which is a good thing but it keeps getting hotter while using it, sometimes have to unplug it so it doesn't burn the bread in a grilled cheese before the cheese melts.
Reliable
I like using my George Foreman grill cooks my food fast.
Overheats and burns everything. Returned it.
I’ve had another GF product for nearly 20 years, and loved it, but this one was useless. The power doesn’t auto-adjust or cut-off so anything you place on the grill will overheat and burn. Might be a voltage issue (india vs US) as pointed out by another reviewer. I returned it.
Ideal y compacto
No cuento con mucho espacio en mi cocina, por lo que su tamaño es perfecto para lo que necesito, la cocción es muy buena.
Fácil de usar
Muy práctica todo queda muy rico, ideal para dos porciones
Why is it on the Indian Amazon??!! 120v
I can’t believe the voltage is not mentioned on the page. I ordered this for 4000 rupees and waited 2 weeks for it only to find it to be incompatible with the indian power sockets..im stuck with it now
