I love these Selsun blue shampoos. I first tried using them for my dog for itchy skin in the summer when he had hotspots and seasonal allergies and it has been with us for years since then. When I developed some seborhea-like scabs on my scalp I knew what to reach for. And guess what - it worked great! I actually introduced this shampoo into my regular routine so that my dry scalp does not come back. It is healing but not drying my scalp and it is amazing for my dogs skin as well. tough for healing but gentle on the skin. Also the consistency is really nice and thick and you can just use a little bit of it and it foams up fast.

I use it as a once weekly clarifying shampoo, and as a daily 3% salicylic acid body wash. it's definitely an improvement over 2.5% for keratosis pilaris and general dry skin. you still have to use a regular body wash, but it's great for exfoliating. it's helped significantly with general and winter dryness.it has a light, neutral fragrance, which is gone when washed off so no worry about layering fragrances. it honestly might not even be fragrance, it might just smell like that, just kind of "clean," which is nice.anyway, I recommend this to everyone in real life because it's a great multi use product.

This product removed all my dandruff which was great but not my itch. It lathers well and doesn't have a weird smell. I like it, I just wish it helped with my itchy scalp.

I have tried all the expensive brands. This is the best. Does not dry out your hair and my scalp doesn’t itch. I have seasonal itching scalp and can be brought on by stress. The itch won’t let me sleep. But this works. Will be buying again.

I was using the Body Shop Ginger shampoo and when they went out of business i was searching for a replacement shampoo that would work equally as well. I stumbled across this in the grocery store and gave it a try. I love the smell, it does not smell like the Selsum Blue of old, but it smells really good and it works great on my hair and is keeping the flakes away. The price is great for me, as it is less expensive then my old shampoo, so a win for me.

Out of all the selsun blue shampoos that I use, this one is my favorite. This one is my favorite because of the scent. It has a fresh and natural scent to it. It smells light and refreshing. I started using this because my dermatologist recommended it for my skin because of my hyperpigmentation. And moisturized my skin and relieved any dry flakes that I was having. My hyperpigmentation has not gotten worse but I can't say it has gotten better. Even though it didn't help my hyperpigmentation it's still improved the overall look and feel of my skin.

Tried this, but didn’t like it as much as the moisturizing formula. Now, trying a different brand to see if anything is better than Selsum Blue…

Doesn't burn the eyes, smell is mild, colorless and works great if used at every wash until problem is gone.
WASTE OF MONEY, instead buy Selsun Blue Medicated Moisturizing Dandruff Shampoo
It has Zero effect in 3 weeks. I thought the product claims to have vitamins B5 & E and will remove dandruff, as it was from the same company that made "Selsun Blue Medicated Moisturizing Dandruff Shampoo" so it should be effective, but I am very much disappointed. It doesn't work. In June 2022 I had the 1st "Selsun Blue Medicated Moisturizing Dandruff Shampoo" 325ml bottle. I used it on alternate days, and it worked like a charm, I saw the results within a week, and in 2 weeks there was zero dandruff, so I continued to use it in larger gaps for a while and then stopped. Again, dandruff came after a year, I bought another bottle in July 2023, repeated, and now I thought let's have a new one and got disappointed. I had to buy Selsun Blue again (Sept 2024). These products gives you relief for a year, still effective than any other shampoo in the market. But DO NOT BUY "Selsun Blue Itchy Dry Scalp, Naturals" it is a waste of money, instead, go for Medicated Moisturizing one (price range is same).

Makes hair and scalp dry
I have a dry scalp and was facing dry flakes issue. It's mentioned in the bottle that this works for dry scalp. Do I had expected this to work. But I was so wrong. Instead this shampoo makes your hair and scalp more dry. Flakes have increased. Selsun has a cheaper option (Yellow colour bottle) which actually works on dry scalp. Going back to use that one instead of this overpriced worthless shampoo.
