I cleaned off all the WD-40 that my house's previous owners had put on their door hinges and applied this stuff instead. One application over a year ago and not a single squeak since.My garage door is old and was very loud with the door mechanism was jerky on the tracks. I applied a thin layer to the track, and some directly on the metal wheels and now it is smooth and much quieter.If you're here, you probably already know white lithium grease works great to lube metal. What you don't know is this container makes application very easy; all you need is this tube and a paper towel to spread/wipe.I bought the 12-pack and gave away most of them to family and friends as stocking stuffer type gifts. Even my father put away that can of WD-40 he sprays on everything and started using this.

This is a good product and works just as well as any other lithium grease I've used. However, the current price for these products is just nuts. A 12 pack of this is $51.45....when I bough this 12 pack it was $10.21!!! There is no way I'd consider paying this much for this product....it seems as if all of Permatex's products have gone up tremendously recently.
