I wanted a salt free sweet and sour sauce because most condiments run so high in sodium.Thought I would try Mr. Spice Organic and it is delicious. Made a vegetable stir fried dish and this sauce was perfect.

I have Meniere's disease and I stick to a strict low sodium diet. Most of our marinades and sauces are concocted in our kitchen but we don't always have the time or energy to make them - and especially when we are traveling and it is impossible to eat out - Mr Spice has solved this problem for us with their delicious marinades and I am beyond excited about this!! WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

I have Celiac's disease, so I'm looking for a sweet and sour sauce that's gluten free. This on tastes terrible, nothing like it. It looks like and has the consistency of a steak sauce, and tastes like nothing I've ever tasted, but definitely not sweet and sour sauce.

The reviewers who didn't like this are more than likely used to the salt laden common sauces.It takes about 3 months for your palate to cleanse itself of the effects of the heavily salted Western diet. After that one becomes surprised at the delicate flavors of many un-salted foods.Mr. Spice Sweet and Sour Sauce is robust, but not overpowering. A perfect sauce for stir fry or to add a bit of flavor to steamed rice. Also a great dipping sauce for deep fried or baked chicken strips.

As someone that just got diagnosed with stage 5 Kidney Failure there are very few sauces and spices I can use that don't come packed with salt. This taste is absolutely amazing. And I can put it on anything and it just makes the meats taste better and I am already placing another order. Thank you for making my strict Renal diet diagnosis a little easier to stomach.
