5.0 out of 5 stars No sodium and flavor!
My mom is on a very, very, low sodium diet, which means her diet now has no flavor. Thai Peanut sauce has flavor! It's expensive, but worth the money to make mom smile.
1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!
I have been addicted to House of Tsang's Spicey Peanut Sauce for decades but it's loaded with WAY TOO MANY CARBS, so I thought I'd try this Thai Peanut Sauce. YUCK! There is NO comparison between the two!! I put a tablespoon of this sauce on my beautifully grilled chicken breast and had to spit it out immediately. I then tossed the entire bottle of this overpriced, disgusting crap into the trash because I couldn't bear having it in my house. Do NOT waste you money on this gross tasting crap - I think I will try to figure out how to make my own with peanut butter and spices. What a total waste of money. If I could leave negative points for this crap, I would. Absolutely horrible. BLECHHHH!
4.0 out of 5 stars Good for a low sodium peanut sauce.
This is pretty good for a low sodium peanut sauce. Not very spicy, I added some hot chili sauce to it. Good enough that I’ll continue to buy this. If you’re going low sodium but find yourself ordering takeout, this will be great, because the take out food is already salty enough.
5.0 out of 5 stars I think the peanut sauce is delicious
A lot of reviewers are trying to compare this peanut sauce (a low sodium product) to other peanut sauces high in sodium. OBVIOUSLY this will not taste like regular, unhealthy peanut sauce?..... I eat a low sodium diet so I am happy with the taste. Maybe it's similar to people who consume a lot of sugar where their taste is altered. and they can no longer taste it in small amounts. I mix it with olive oil to make salad dressing. So......that being said......if you're looking for a unhealthy, salty product, buy one?. If not, this is a good choice.
3.0 out of 5 stars Bad packaging
The taste is okay, but too tangy and not peanut-y enough for my liking (it's way too strong no a salad). My main problem is the bottle. It's so hard to get the satay out of the bottle, because it's glass. It all gets stuck in the bottle, it took me ages to get enough out, even with a knife. A squeezy plastic bottle or jar would be better. I'll go back to making my own - it takes less time than shaking the bottle.
5.0 out of 5 stars Tastes great
Tastes good and didn't make me sick. It's nice to be able to have peanut sauce again.
2.0 out of 5 stars This is nasty 🤮
I love love PB chicken or Thai in general . This sauce is literally disgusting 😂 I have gotten so many better ones and am truly disappointed. It takes more like vinegar than anything else and the smell is atrocious. Will not make the mistake of buying this twice but if I could save someone else 😂👏 you’re welcome
5.0 out of 5 stars Thank you Mr Spice!
I have been put on a low sodium diet and I love peanut sauce. I really like this product. This is my second order. I now prefer it to "regular" peanut sauce.I liked it so much i have ordered some of Mr spices other sauces.I the future I will probably order it from Mr Spice's website as it is much cheaper.
Tasty sauce
We quite like this sauce. My wife who is gluten-free loves this stuff
Heads up........
It's expensive, and I like the flavor, BUT it is NOT " salt-free ". Like so many products allowed to mislead by claiming to be salt-free,this contains potassium chloride. Now if this was reviewing Mr Spice Tangy Bang I'd be tossin' 5 stars all over the place. :-0
