Evidently, they have two ships catching and packaging the tuna into the cams. The one with the blue lighthouse emblem is better packaged than the one without the blue lighthouse emblem. The tuna is caught and packaged onboard the ships and delivered to port in cans ready to go. The tuna without the Lighthouse emblem is slightly mushy compared to the one with the blue light house tower in the center of the emblem which has more solid tuna compared to the other.

This the best tasting, and healthiest tuna I've had, even after years buying BB tuna 'albacore.' The chunk has less mercury so it's safer for you. 4/5 stars bc the minute I reorder, the price goes up 2x again. Chicken of the Sea is a better value, and good.

I recently ordered Bumblebee Tuna 5 ounce cans in the 24 pack. I love ordering the bulk tuna cans, because they are usually cheaper than buying smaller quantities. When I purchased them, I was able to get the tuna for $0.82 a can, on Bolo, in mid-July of 2024.Bubble tuna is always great quality. It tastes great. It’s not too fishy and has a mild flavor.The texture is also great. Light and flaky but also each flake is firm. This tuna tends to larger flakes, versus the small, super smashed type you get with other name brands. I prefer it in big pieces, so I like this tuna best. You can easily smash it with a fork. I love to eat the tuna with mayonnaise and a little bit of sweet relish. We use the tuna in tuna sandwiches, fish tacos, tuna patties, Macaroni and cheese and all kinds of other recipes.Bumblebee tuna is a brand that actually guarantees the tuna is wild caught.The cans specify that they contain four ounces of tuna (dry weight), and one ounce of water. So you know you are getting mostly tuna in these cans. You can drain out the water after opening, or simply incorporate it into your tuna. I usually drain the water, unless I am giving it to my cat.I didn’t order the easy open cans although I know they do have them. I ordered the regular cans. Still the cans are quite easy to open with a can opener. My cat comes running every time I open a can of tuna.You can’t beat the convenience of having ready to eat tuna in your pantry. I keep a stock of this on hand all the time. I highly recommend this brand, although make sure to watch for sales so you get the best deal.
