Son puts it in his basketball bag. Small and easy to use.I wouldn't try pumping any pool floats but it works well for any sport balls.
4.0 out of 5 stars Effective pump, dubious pressure gauge
This is a completely effective, very cheap pump. It's lightweight, easy to use, and it comes with a hose attachment and a total of three needles (inflating, gauge, and deflating). It IS cheap material, but you should already expect that when it's $9. It also is completely functional without any noticeable flaws. There is a bit of air leakage, but I had no issues getting volleyballs up to 4.5PSI.The pressure gauge is the issue. It is also functional, and it actually comes in both metric and English units: PSI comes in increments of 0.5 and bar/kg comes in increments of 0.1. The issue is it's a nightmare to read. Admittedly, I used it to get about 4.5 PSI, but I actually had to use the bar measurements and convert it to get any semblance of readability. There are two notches on the PSI measurements, one of which makes it look suspiciously like it comes in increments of 0.1PSI, and I can't figure out which is the zero. Also, the measurements aren't perfect. Not sure if one is just zeroed wrong, but using the bar measurements, a reading of 0.3 bar (which should be just a smidge under 4.5PSI) read at what I believe is closer to 4.3PSI (or 4.8PSI as, again, I can't figure out the zero). It's not that far, but it is a difference.To add to that, the actual pressure reading of it is doubtful at best. There seems to be a good amount of internal friction in the gauge, which would suggest a lower reading than actual value. This could be compensated for, but it's a $9 pump and gauge, and I don't really have high expectations.

purchased and use this to pump up balls. It works well and is easy to use, even for children. I like that it's bright red because that makes it easy to find in the garage mess :)

Pump worked better than expected the first time. Inflated the ball really fast and well. After second use the pump randomly broke. When taking the pump off of the ball the needle came out of the pump and stayed on the ball. Now every time I attempt to use it it takes a really long time to pump any air into ball and the needle pops off and stays stuck in the ball every time causing air to pour out and deflate the ball almost immediately every time. Did not even last even two weeks before it broke. Quality isn’t that great but if you manage to have one that continues to work it’s a pretty good pump.
