Great way to take cigars on trips. I Wish I had gotten these sooner, makes traveling with stogies a piece of cake! I can take a weeks worth of cigars, my lighter and a boveda humidity pack in here and be all set. I tuck it into my checked luggage and no worries about crushed cigars or drying out on vacation. I’ve gotten where I just keep several cigars in here year round and just change out the small boveda pouch as needed. I’m ready to grab and go at a moments notice.

Solid case so far. I have taken this case on several trips, including flights and have had no issues at all. I read some reviews that said they had a vacuum lock problem after a flight but I didn't. Size is perfect for me, put 5 cigars, cutter, torch, and a humidity tube in it.

Absolutely the Gold Standard in humidors for use in adverse conditions. I took mine, packed with cigars, to the National Training Center in Fort Irwin California (right in Death Valley) for a little over 30 days this year. You can imagine how dry that place was. I carried this case in my assault pack and it went everywhere with me. At no time during the entire rotation did the cigars dry out. At no time did the outside elements have any impact, whatsoever, on my cigars. Excellent product. 10/10 would recommend and I will be purchasing a larger one!!

This is actually fantastic for what I use it for. I throw in some of the mini bovada packs and pack it up when I go away from home for usually a week. It keeps the cigars plenty safe the latches seem very sturdy. It is long enough for about 90 95% of all your cigars. Overall great product for the price I would say only stupid thing is the little cheap humidifier glued to the inside of the lid. I just removed it fairly easy and its great!

I purchased because of the size. I have a 5 cigar unit, and because I like to carry a cutter and lighter inside, it was just a bit too small. This does the trick! I do wish they (or anyone) made a 10 that was "one story" high and a bit larger in footprint so it would better fit in luggage or a golf bag.For some reason, I received an older model. Xikar changed this model about a year+ ago from using a "built-in" green foam humidifier to just including a disposable Boveda pack (that you replace as needed). Other than this change, I assume they're identical? I had planned (and still plan) to use the Boveda packs, and having the green foam isn't going to hinder anything, but it would have been nice to receive my first pack along with the unit. Also, however insignificant, it bugs me when someone sells you one thing and sends another?I've included pics, because I had a tough time visualizing the actual size from images online.

Great humidor depending on what size cigars you smoke you might be able to put more than 10 in the case. Easily holds 10 big ones. Obviously the case is somewhat bulky but fits in by carry on luggage nicely when traveling and keeps them from getting damaged. The built in humidifier is the green "potting foam" or plant foam but does an ok job of holding enough glycol to keep the cigars humidified for about a week. It does drip easily on the cigars if you overfill it though. Good product that I would buy again without a doubt.

I love this thing. It handles large cigars, is sturdy and maintains the right humidity level. What more can you ask for? I've used this several times on business trips and my cigars are always fresh and safe upon arrival. I also use this now as an excuse to purchase cigars when I am traveling as I now have a safe, reliable way to transport them home.
