Unexpectedly nice out of the box, easy to install as long as your old seat's hardware isn't rusted or otherwise jammed fast. Comfortable. Fit toilet perfectly. Box has ruler marks on sides telling you to use them to measure your old seat before you open the box. I noticed this after I opened the box. Glad I measured before I ordered the thing! My only complaint is that the plastic hinges attaching the bottom to the cover are not as robust as they should be. There is a bit more side-to-side give in them than there should be, imho. A heavy person sitting down at an angle could possibly wear these out sooner than expected. We'll see. Glad they are inexpensive (for now).

I bought this toilet seat two years ago and it still looks and works great. It was easy to install, even for an old lady like me. It looks just as nice as the original one that came with my Kohler toilet. It doesn't look cheap or fake. There are two little plastic bolt/screw type things that attach the seat to the toilet. They're easy to install and tighten with just a screwdriver or even a butter knife, which is what I used. The only small issue that I've had is that one of the bolts loosens by itself and I occasionally have to tighten it so the seat stays straight and level. This toilet seat is sturdy, attractive, works great and matches my Kohler toilet perfectly.Update: August 2019. I've had the toilet seat two years and it's proven to be a good toilet seat that looks nice. However, I reduced my rating to four stars because the white painted finish is starting to chip and wear in places on the bottom seat part. It's only noticeable up close, but it still bugs me. I'm the only one who uses the toilet, so I wouldn't expect the painted coating to wear down so quickly.

No stars!!! Bought awhile ago but, just installed seat last month due to hip surgery.Something is seriously wrong with this seat. It keeps moving to one side and loosens up and it unscrews.Where the hinges are located (they join the seat and lid and screw into holes provided via toilet base & fastened underneath toilet). the left side is very odd and sits a little crooked- and has a big space, to move about but iit’s not like the other side.If you look at the seat and lid when you walk in be you can tell that seat is uneven and it’s just not right.Got what I pd for but too late to get my money back.

Solid, sturdy seat, easy-ish install, works well with riser. Comfortable. Unfortunately, underside of seat stains quickly and easily. Can't even get it clean with a melamine sponge.
