I can say that these are the best toasters in the business. I am buying a second one. The first one I had lasted for twenty years. It is time to replace it. It still works! I will always keep a Russell Hobbs toaster. The last one I bought came from Sam's Club. This time I had to buy it straight from the UK. Thanks to Bolo I can do that.

Gets very hot -toast can fly - hard to get out. My toaster tongs are to big. All in all buy something else.

I bought this toaster- ended up donating to charity. It looks to be very well-built but obviously not made for USA electrial standards. It comes with an adapter for USA use but this toaster never got hot enough to hardly heat the bread. I left it in for 5 cycles and all it did was make the bread hard and dried out- but NEVER GOT BROWN or toasted. I was very disappointed.

ポップアップトースターとしてはちょっとお値段が高めだけど、トーストの仕上りは秀逸。表面がカリっと中がフワっと仕上がりますが、４枚切りから6枚切りの食パンでは、５枚切りのトーストが一番美味しかった。
A great toaster
I normally consider toasters to be a necessary evil. I don't want to put the over-expensive grill on each time I want a couple of slices of toast, nor do I want to to receive under-toasted bread or even be prevented from toasting overly-sized bread.I certainly don't want uneven toasted bread either or indeed, bread that's been burnt. I've been plagued with all these problems for what seems like an eternity, until now.This toaster ticks all the right boxes for me. Simple to use; good looking; and very functional. It accepts large and thick slices of bread. It toasts evenly. The middle heat setting (5/10) is calibrated well to produce perfectly toasted bread. For me.It's also easy to empty those annoying crumbs that collect in the tray without much mess.A great value product from Bolo.

以前から欲しかったポップアップトースター。デロンギなどの新製品と比べると、コストパフォーマンスと耐久性に少々不安はあるものの、デザインの持つレトロ感、存在感は代えられません。1枚焼くと上手く焼けないなどのコメントも見ましたが、問題なく、ほどよく焼けます。ポップアップの音も気にならず、なにより取り出すときに少しレバーを上げてつまみ上げるなど、保温のことなども考えられていて、なかなか優しい機能もあります。
使用感、キッチンでの存在感
ポップアップトースターは、まず、朝食、しかも、食パンを食べる時にしか使わないものですが、最近では、美味しい食パンの店も増えたので、お餅のことなどは考えず、トーストを美味しく食べるということだけを目的に、いろいろ比較検討した結果、これを買い求めました。操作はわかりやすくて使いやすく、焼き上がりは表面はカリッと中はふんわり、冷凍食パンも風味が落ちていると感じることもありません。そして、朝食のテーブルの上や、使用しないときのキッチンでの美しい存在感は、いつでも美味しいトーストを食べることができるという安心感にもつながり、かけがえのないものと思います。
Great looking toaster that makes great toast
After reading many of the reviews here on Bolo, I was a bit sceptical about buy this product given some of the negative concerns over uneven cooking of toast, ie the toaster cooks one side more than the other, which for most situations is undesirable. I bought it anyway as the positive reviews far outweighed the negative ones, and besides, if the toaster I bought was to start showing these symptoms within the first year, I'd just send it back a get a replacement.I needn't have worried, this toaster really works well. The toaster cooks evenly on both sides, it's quiet in operation and it has a great classic design.WARNING: as others have pointed out, one of the main concerns is that the top of the toaster gets extremely hot during toasting, and you will burn your fingers if you touch it immediately after or during operation. It's amazing to me that it passes all health and safety regs in the UK.
